If you are looking for an unforgettable experience that is wrapped in excellence and in the warmest hospitality you can imagine, then this venue and the Alda's team are for you! Nature & fresh air are healing...so was the love & attention and the amazing atmosphere curated for our women's & widows' community for our Christmas event! Alda, Buddy, Lt. Dan and Delilah, and support member Andrew absolutely exceeded our expectations. The Cocoa Bar on the Moon Dock, all the holiday lights, adirondack chairs by the fire... the attention to detail and the incredible way Alda made sure in the moment all our needs were met were truly 5-star. We felt like we were in a Hallmark movie!! By dark, it is the most poignant December venue! Love her & Love this place! We will be back!!

The venue was absolutely beautiful; both Alda and Mr. Buddy were very welcoming to our party. With just a few requests they made our elopement come alive and a day we will cherish forever.

We recently were able to serve drinks at a wedding at Alda’s Hill! We served from the boathouse and it was so cute and charming! The guests loved having a drink spot on their way to the reception! We also enjoyed the horse drawn carriage and the vintage truck!!

There truly are just not enough great things I can say about this venue, the amenities, the staff or our experience. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It fell into our lap and we had NO idea what a blessing that would be.

The convenience of having the wedding and reception in one location is always great! Now add that it is absolutely beautiful and the most unique Experience makes it fabulous. From the antique truck that brought in the Groom and his men, the daddy/daughter carriage ride through woods to the alter, the dove release at the end of the ceremony, the beautiful fresh flowers down the aisle and at the alter (provided by the venue), the pretty decorated reception area, the very tasty/gorgeous cake (provided by the venue), to the dramatic firework drive off in the antique car for the bride and groom (everything mentioned was part of the venue package) it was the most amazing experience and I was just the mother of the bride.

Alda and Buddy run a business, and one you can tell they take a lot of pride in, but not at any point did it feel like it. It felt more like we were utilizing a long-time family friend’s home. They were professional, but more importantly sweet, caring and kind. There is no detail she doesn’t have covered. I am thankful not only for a beautiful venue, but that we had the chance to get to know them!

Awesome is the word which sums up our wedding experience here. We were faced with the possibility of thundershowers but Buddy, Alda, & crew worked hard to get both indoor and outdoor venues prepared. Eventually the weather held off and our daughter had a gorgeous outdoor wedding.

Most, if not all, of the attendees commented that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended.

Buddy and Alda have the experience, and maybe more importantly, the passion to deliver a dream come true wedding. The wedding memories of our daughter, son in law, family, guests, and ourselves (Mom & Dad) will be treasured for the rest of our lives.

Alda and Buddy are the absolute best. My husband and I had the most magical wedding here. We are still getting comments from friends and family of how it was the best wedding they have ever been too. Alda has thought of every detail. She captured my vision perfectly, and was so fun and comfortable to work with. She has everything! I wanted teacups, she had teacups. I wanted pumpkins, she got pumpkins. My husband collects typewriters and she had a vintage typewriter on display! Not to mention the horse drawn carriage, wooden doors, dove release, chandelier, and fireworks! The venue is beautiful at every turn, from the bridal room, the grooms quarters, the ceremony, and the reception in the carriage house. Our guests loved how many places there were to hang out during the reception. You will not be disappointed if you choose to have your wedding at Alda’s Magnolia Hill. My only regret is that I can’t relive the day over and over.

Our daughter was married to the man of her dreams at the venue of her dreams, Alda’s Magnolia Hill. The wedding was outside by the pond under the red and gold hued trees. She arrived at the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. The reception was held in a beautifully decorated barn. I had so many guests say this was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Alda and Buddy made that happen. It’s like having family plan and host your wedding. Alda was so easy to work. Everything was absolutely perfect.

My brother and his now wife had their wedding their this past weekend and it was BEYOND anything they could have dreamt! They loved it and everyone there loved it as well. They have wonderful views, fantastic and hardworking people, and many little surprises throughout the wedding. The set up was absolutely stunning!!! I loved being in the wedding and they did everything in their power to make it the most perfect day possible! I feel they succeeded!!! I 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a place to have their wedding!
