We enjoyed our stay at Jacks. Room was clean, screened in porch was so nice to sit in the morning drinking coffee while looking out at the mountains and white river. We were there for the 4th of July for some R&R. Service and housekeeping was awesome. Food at Jojos was delicious. Not far to town to listen to music in the park and on the square,or browse the many stores. My husband and I were very pleased with our stay!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and every year after for 36 years, until I lost him in 2004. I have not been back since he passed away. He loved it so there that I have not had the heart to go back without him but I think I’m ready now. We made so many wonderful memories at Jack’s Resort! I’d like to go back and remember them all, although I will very much miss Jack and Mary Hale. They became good friends over the years.

The JoJo staff was great. Got the steak and it was cooked spot on. They don't serve breakfast but the kitchen let me get a few eggs to cook in our room's kitchenette. The last trip we caught fish and hopefully we do this time.

Okay, so we lost power for 2 days and it was freezing! We were snowed in the first full day of our stay, but the place is so nice we didn't mind much. And we were given a PILE of extra blankets and a bright battery-powered light so we wouldn't be in the dark. The owner and staff couldn't have been more gracious.
The room was so quaint and pretty, with charming decor. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The views were beautiful! Definitely plan to return when it's warmer!

We have been coming here about 10 years now and this place never disappoints. The owners are so friendly! The rooms are cute and simple, they have everything a simple person needs, and the view of the river is beautiful. The folks that come here are usually very friendly also. The resort is pet friendly, so we enjoy getting to bring our dog with on vacation. There is a playground and basketball court. The restaurant, Jojo’s, is always a must too. The resort is very kid friendly, you will see lots of families there. The stay was lovely as usual, and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Overall, Jack's is a great place to stay to be right on the water (although we couldn't see the water unless we walked out there as we stayed in one of the 4 queen rooms). Parking is not great for those rooms AT ALL!!! ||The mattress was extremely hard but some like that so that just depends on your preference. The room was small but we were only in there for sleep so not a huge deal for us. The bathroom was extremely small and hot but again, just there for sleeping. The AC was in the sitting room (no TV in there). Thankfully we brought our fan with us so it would blow air into the bedroom area. ||My main complaint would be the fact that they rent and shuttle THEIR kayaks or rafts but, even if you spend money to stay at Jack's Resort for the weekend, they don't offer you the option of paying them to shuttle your personal kayaks (that was what we went to that area for). They only shuttle if you rent the kayaks from them. So we had to go down to Angler's to get them to shuttle us up river. Next time, we will probably just stay at Angler's for that reason. ||On the plus side, JoJo's was a great place to eat and it was nice to be able to just walk over there.
