Today was a far better experience with the kindness of people and improvement of food. Today I enjoyed a cheeseburgerr and french fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would like to start off by saying I use to have a five-star review for this place.

Due to my most recent experience, the food quality has seemed to dwindle severely. Not sure what has happened or hasn't happened but it's definitely noticeable.

Chicken fried steak seemed as it was without flavor. The mashed potatoes served come out cold and had to be instant potatoes. And the gravy serve the top was I have a thicker substance but lacks flavor.

My waitress however, was very friendly, helpful and efficient. She deserves 5 stars.

Now the sad part

The lady that checks you out is very cruel, rude and quite frankly co.es across as hateful attitude she believes is friendly.

She seems to look down on people who are up on hard times..

I witnessed it first hand 20/27/2025. The re is no need in that type of behavior. That's my reason for a 1 star review. She knows how she was Itearing people. No .more detail required.

I don't typically leave that type of review but, feel It needed to be addressed..

This place is an amazing hidden gem. You are treated like friends and family from the first second in the door. The service was amazing. You never wanted for a refill or anything else. The food was so good. I felt like I was eating at my Mom's table. The fare is good homemade southern food. My husband had the meatloaf. It was great. I can definitely recommend the candied carrots. The skillet was so chocked full of veggies and so much meat. Will return again and again!

I like to eat locally but this was a rough experience. Maybe if im nursing a hang over it would have been okay but, i wasnt. Food was the problem i dont know what happened but the second time i went the food was bad. Undercooked veggies and over cooked hash, food was also cold and i didnt want to wait 30mins. Service was good definitely get a home feel to the wait staff. Be warned this place is constantly full of the old timers. I cant in good faith recommended eating here currently. Hopefully they fix whatever issue they had in the kitchen.

You can feel love in this Diner, Service is perfect, coffee always warm and filled, attentive but not overly, food was amazing (Cheryl Diner was 2022 nominee Arkansas Hall of Fame) old fashioned friendly, Godly, respectful environment. Never rushed, Service dog friendly and it feels like home. Prices point perfect, daily specials, and easily accessible with a walker for those who use one.

We had breakfast here after Mass on Sunday. The service was exceptional. Our sever, I believe her name was Cindi, couldn't have been better. The food was good although I think other options may have been better. We had breakfast, but the lunch items looked very good. Wife and I both ordered Connies Skillet and our daughter had the kids chicken tenders with mashed potatoes. If we were in the area again, I'd definitely return.
