We had such an amazing experience using Christina Burton Events for our wedding day coordination. I’m not sure I would have sought out a planner/coordinator on my own, but my venue required it – thankfully! Adding Grace, our coordinator, was such a huge reason to why our day was perfect! Leading up to the event, Grace provided us with amazing tools to help keep organized and on track, they provided lists of recommended vendors and helpful guidance for all bridal activities. The week of our wedding, we had such unfortunate weather and the forecast for our big day seemed bleak- Grace not only made sure that my guests had a great experience but helped to keep my original visions alive. Her help was instrumental in keeping my mom and I calm and focused on being present with our friends and family. She handled communication with the vendors and the venue which was a tremendous help. She put together our timelines (and kept them organized with MANY changes) and helped us to organize our ceremony with our own unique touches. I can honestly say hiring Christina Burton Events was one of our best decisions we made for the entire wedding. I am so thankful to Grace and her team; my wedding was everything I hoped for and more.

As a former wedding planner for 10+ years, I knew that I needed expert coordination and guidance for my spring 2025 wedding in Lexington, KY. After doing my research, I hired Christina Burton Events. This and selecting the Apiary as my wedding venue, were two of the best decisions that we made. My coordinator was Grace Mays and she was outstanding. Kind, smart, quick, honest, and compassionate, Grace coordinated our wedding with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail, she even hand-printed a last minute sign for our reception. The day of the wedding, Grace was on it, focused, smiling, and executing without missing a beat. In addition to her professional skills, Grace was compassionate and caring and offered words of wisdom when we needed some reassurance along the way. Our wedding day was flawless from start to finish and we owe much of this to Grace at CBE. I could not recommend her highly enough.

We did the "Coordination & Guidance" package and couldn't be happier! We worked with Caitlin Gilliam and she was wonderful. So incredibly professional, unflappable under stress. SO KIND when I was stressed. I plan events for my day job, so I wanted to wedding plan, however I had never planned anything like a wedding or put together florals with stationery or design things like that. I didn't pick the design package, but being able to put things together myself and then run them by Caitlin and the other vendors on our team was hugely helpful! The guidance calls were so worth it. For example, I had no idea what color tablecloth to pick and Caitlin and Bella (Belfleur Florals) were able to show me their favorites on BBJ Tavola and point me to the best rentals and how to pair linens together. This made the whole process so much more fun!

Most of our wedding party has also been married in the last few years and all of them were saying how organized and fun and smooth our day went! Caitlin's energy was a huge part of that, she has the perfect energy for wedding coordination. She just comes off as so poised, secure, calm and kind and happy. She dressed in a very polished way and talked to people in a way that was warm and engaging - no matter how stressed anyone else was. I think she helped set a really nice tone - but at the same time, would step back and blend in to let the day be about the bride and groom and their friends and family. I didn't think about it much that day, but looking back she was often a chameleon making sure everything was running smoothly and no one noticed any bumps!

I included a few photos (Katelyn V Photography) in here to show where I landed with the designs. I also showed some photos of layouts - it was really nice to be able to just bring all of our stuff to the rehearsal and trust Caitlin and Christy's team to lay it out. When we got the the venue all of the layouts looked perfect. Huge thanks again to this wonderful team!!! Money well spent!!

Hiring Jen with CBE was the best decision I made during the wedding planning process, and some of the best money I’ve ever spent. Wedding planning can be SO overwhelming, but Jen made it so easy. She answered any questions I had and was always there to offer up solutions to any issues that arose. She reminded me of important details that naturally slip your mind the month leading up to your wedding because you are so stressed and overwhelmed. Her communication with the rest of the vendor team truly took so much stress off my plate. She was an absolute joy to work with leading up to the wedding, but it was on the day of that she truly blew me away. From setting everything up that morning, taking it all down and packing it in the car at night, making sure the bride and groom actually ate, curating the perfect timeline and so much more - she truly does it all. She ensured vendors knew where to be and when, she kept our wild bridal party in line, and she even seamlessly fixed a last minute dress malfunction the MOH had. We got SO many compliments on her professionalism and her adorable personality. Everyone was so pleased with and thankful for her efforts. I truly cannot imagine what the day would have been like with out her (probably a disaster!). If you are a future or current bride reading this… HIRE THE COORDINATOR! And choose someone at CBE, it will be one of the most important things you do for the biggest day of your life! Thank you Jen for making our special day so flawless.

Cannot say enough positive things about Christina Burton events. Our lead coordinator, Kaitlin Kilcourse and her assistant Mary Ann made everything perfect. As unbelievable as it sounds, the day was absolutely perfect. If there were any snafus on the day of the wedding, then my daughter (the bride) and I were unaware. The schedule Kaitlin devised with my daughter was perfectly executed. The tools they provided via aisle planner app were so beneficial in planning the big day. Kaitlin and Mary Ann were so professional; they were behind the scenes handling everything. If the bride was a princess, he mother was the queen. Thank you Christina Burton events!

I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience from beginning to end. We had a specific “travel” themed wedding which incorporated multiple different food stations and activities (think Epcot). From the first meeting Jen got the idea and ran with it! I was in another state trying to plan from afar so she went to the venue and sent photos, had a back up weather plan, made sure all of the family members that were “those family members” were very politely and very well handled by her and her team. The day of experience had zero stress and all fun. Ive been hearing nothing but good things from family and friends weeks later. I’d recommend Christina Burton Events to everyone!
