We had a lovely stay at The Lodge at the Blue Lakes. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and some even came with a beautiful view of the water. The smaller rooms feature a cozy jacuzzi, which was a nice touch.

We ended up upgrading to a larger room with a full kitchen and lake view, and it was totally worth it. The kitchen had everything we needed — all stainless steel appliances and plenty of utensils, making it feel like a home away from home.

The highlight of our stay was the property manager. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He was so sweet with the kids and even helped us get the outdoor fireplace going despite the weather not cooperating.

Overall, a peaceful and pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend!

The beds were awful. Hard and if one moved on them it sounded as though they were sleeping on a plastic shower curtain. I’m sure our neighbors could hear us move! The walls are so thin. Our neighbor had a big Siberian husky and, although the dog was very well behaved, we could hear it walking, pacing , scuttling and moving furniture. The road side rooms are noisy from highway noise.||The lake is pretty and the manager super friendly. The room was clean. Hot water. Been at the hotel several times in the past but with those beds this was our last visit.

We stayed at the Lodge during the march heatwave with our two small dogs and had a great time! The King room with jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake was awesome. Comfy bed, great soaking tub, DirectTv in the room. Only drawback is that the lodge is on the main road which is a little noisy at times. Erick the manager was so nice and a great host. He gave us a 40 min boat ride on the lake which we loved. We will be back in the summer for sure.

I have been a constant visitor to the Lodge at Blue Lakes for many years and had stopped visiting some time ago due to a lack of staffing as seen in the past. A week and a half ago I finally revisited what I consider my favorite hideaway and was pleasantly surprised to find that they hired a new full time onsite manager by the name of Eric. Eric provided to be one of the most professional and accommodating managers this place has ever had. From the moment you call to reserve a room, to checking in, he goes out of his way to make the visit there as comfortable and settling as one would expect from some five star hotels. Furthermore, he makes it a point to ensure that you are aware of an availability at any hour should something occur or a need for some level of support. Based off this, I intend on returning to my monthly visits with my next coming again in a week and a half. My hope is that his management understands how lucky they are to have someone this committed to their day to day job. @Eric- hoping you see this. Lee Khumalo

My late husband and i loved coming here at the Lodge of the Blue Lakes. He recently passed away, so I wanted to have time to myself amd grieve. I feel closer to him here. So peaceful here. I am never disappointed when we come to this place. We love the Jacuzzi room. Staff are very pleasant. I recommend this place, especially during the off season.

The Lodge at Blue Lakes exceeded my expectations, knowing the enormous crowds it endures during the summer months. During the month of February is THE time to go if you don't want a ton of people roaming around passing by your windows (for privacy). The Lodge is older and is in need of a facelift, but we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience of fishing, vending machines, easy parking and ERIC! What a great host! He was a highlight and made some moments a little better!

Recently tried to book my small intimate wedding here and got the run around for weeks on end. They never got back to me and I was ignored and lied to about it. I even emailed their corporate office in the hopes of securing this venue and again was ignored and lied to by staff about how they would call me and approve my application within the day. Seems like there is only one guy running the place who told me he couldn't be more help since he has to do everything by himself including cleaning the rooms. Very rude, scummy and disappointing. I will never try to book here again. You can easily find something better and less expensive.

What a great getaway! Super hospitable and really fun. I was super impressed with Eric, the manager of the lodge. He was incredibly welcoming and very attentive. This was just a little fishing expedition for my teenage son and his buddies, that will end up being an annual if not more than annual event for us. We had such a good time together with the rooms being right on the lake. The lake was clean and provided for some excellent t fishing......the rainbow trout were hungry :). Super quiet and beautiful. I can not say enough about how cool the trip was. We will be back. Thank you again to Eric for really taking good care of us!
