Put gas in my boat after business hours, filled my tank showing $40.29. Before I pulled away from dock, my credit card was hit for $150. Don’t know how this happened. Having to wait till morning to find out from business employees or owner. This shouldn’t happen!!!!

This is our favorite marina on the lake! We’ve been renting boats here for several years and now have our boat in a slip thanks to Amanda! Amanda, Jason, and their staff have been wonderful to work with and are a big part of why we do business here! Their fast friendly service and responsiveness to our needs is second to none! We highly recommend their marina to anyone wanting to have a great day on the water.

We called about a month ago to reserve a boat rental to celebrate our anniversary, I made certain we could allow a dog on a boat as our friends wanted to bring their lab. The lady on the phone told me yes that would be fine. I called several times to confirm our reservation. When we arrived this morning the lady told me we could not have a dog on the boat because there was carpet. I told her I specifically asked when I placed the reservation and the deposit, she then proceeded to argue with me that they have owned that boat for X amount of years and that boat doesn’t allow dogs. I communicated that I had no way of knowing what boats she had or how long she had owned it, all I had knowledge of was what I was told on the phone. She was going to let us take the boat out anyway but very rudely let us know we would be subjected to a cleaning fee if there was hair left behind. I was not going to pay for a cleaning fee when it was their mistake giving us false information. Our friends were already in route with the dog, and we had no service to let them know.

We got our money back and left. On top of this the woman was not nice about the situation, and before this occurred I heard her on the phone and getting annoyed at another customer asking questions about a boat rental. What was supposed to be a fun anniversary celebration ended very poor. Would not trust this place for services. Go to any other marina.

* I also noticed the boat we were to rent was very old and aged. I’ve rented much nicer boats for the same price.

One of the two best marinas on the lake. It was no surprise for me to learn they were related to Sugarloaf owners as that is the other one we love. Rental rates are extremely competitive and the hospitality is amazing. Highly recommend. We read reviews before going. All i can say is, if you rent a boat….. just follow the rules and don’t wreck their boats and you will have a blast! And by the way, accidents happen and honesty always pays off. There was someone there that came in and admitted to hitting a rock too close to shore with the motor. The owner told them they appreciated the honesty and inspected the prop. They told them it actually looked ok and didn’t charge them a dime.
