I joined 6 other women on one of Leslie’s Heart Travel Morocco tours and it was truly wonderful. We did the 10-day southern Morocco portion of the tour and enjoyed a very authentic and memorable experience, staying in small riads and hosted by local guides into small villages, into the desert, through the Atlas Mountains, to the coastal town of Essaouira and finally to bustling Marrakech. We saw so much in 10 days it is hard to detail everything. What an adventure it was! A great tour all around!

Our recent tour of Morocco with Leslie Heart Travel was one of my very favorite travel experiences of all time! Our trip felt less like a tour – and more like a personal journey with someone who genuinely cares about sharing Morocco and its culture. Leslie helped us understand how to be respectful of the local customs and culture, enriching our experience with her enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism. She was always available and attentive to our needs. The activities she arranged (cooking, henna, traditional music) were fun and engaging; the food and lodging were wonderful. And I am so glad we chose to add the southern trip extension. Dar Talmoudi and our camel caravan into the dunes at Erg Chigaga were true magic!

The lodging and the food were way beyond my expectations for such a reasonable price. I’ve been traveling since 2011. This is one of my all time favorite vacation experiences.

My trip to Morocco with Leslie was one of the best I've ever taken. Leslie was sensitive to Moroccan customs and flexible with plans, adapting the itinerary in small ways to the interests of our small group. It was like traveling with friends. We stayed in small riads in the old section of towns, which gave us an inside view of traditional life and crafts. The local guides were knowledgable and the history fascinating. Having Abdo, a Moroccan man, traveling with us increased the authenticity of our experience. The tour route gave me a good feel for the variety of Moroccan landscape--traveling into the mountains, the desert, a coastal village, and cities both large and small. The trip was everything I hoped it would be!
