We stayed for 1 night at the trout cabin and had a great experience. They were friendly and accommodating, even took us for a boat ride and to jump off some cliffs. The cabins were clean, spacious, and well stocked with everything you would need. There was a fire pit out front where we spent the night by the fire watching the sunset over the lake. They also have some sweet, well-behaved puppers. Zaine played a good game of fetch and Lucky loved getting pets.
Also for those it pertains to, we are a queer female interracial couple and we felt safe and were never uncomfortable during our stay.

Great location and hosts. Clean semi rustic cabins that are awesome!!! On the lake and not far from Clinton. Wished we lived closer so we could go back more often. Clean, Quite, Refreshing Rejuvenating. Don’t change a thing

We recently spent two nights at Cabins on the Cove. Pros: The cabins are well decorated and supplied, and their historical charm did not disappoint. All of the supplies and decorations were clean and new. The location was quiet and we heard birds every morning, and the sounds of the forest at night. The owners offered us fresh vegetables from the garden and were great with communication. Cons: There is a lengthy disclaimer to sign which was disconcerting. We have traveled extensively and only signed waivers such as these for zip lining or off shore fishing. If there were inherent dangers (obstacles, mold, chemicals), why hadn't they been removed or addressed if they are a hazardous concern? Also, the bed in our cabin was very soft, with a deep unsupported sway in the middle - causing both my husband and I back pain. Each time we went down to the lake to enjoy the view or fish, (you are not allowed to swim there), we were followed by an owner. They either threw toys for the dogs, or tinkered with their boat while we were there, watching us and following us back after we left. If there were restrictions to visit the boat dock it was not shared with us. I would still recommend Cabins on the Cove for a remote, natural experience.

These cabins are located on one of the states most beautiful lakes, Greer's Ferry Lake. I've stayed at Cabins on the Cove several times. My wife and I always have a great time there. There is a waterfall located on site. Outdoor dining areas with various games are situated in areas on the property. The owners offer customized stays and include tours of the lake. They are very knowledgeable about local places on and off the lake, including history of the region. There is a large boat slip located on site. This is a great place to relax, explore, swim, ski, fish, hike, grill food, have bonfire, enjoy the scenery and more. Great place to stay. Highly recommended for couples and families alike. Pets are welcomed here too. Did I mention the waterfall...? Pics below.

The cabin was wonderful! Very clean and well maintained. The owners are incredibly nice and available if anything was needed. If you are looking for a place to escape with a beautiful view and terrific accommodations this is the place to be.

Great place for a getaway! Well maintained and clean cabins. Sara and her husband go above and beyond to make sure your stay is everything you expected. Boat slip was nice and they are working on a nature walk to a waterfall on the property. We even found a little Honey hole for crappie but you’ll have to find that your self! We are already planning our next visit!
