My father was placed in the memory unit for dementia. He is clean, shaved, nails and hair cut and dressed every time we show up. His bed is always made and he is never just left in it. We really can’t express our gratitude for the level of care he is receiving. Wonderful staff back in the memory wing.

Novato health care is amazing with my father , patient with him , above and beyond with his meals , he’s gained 25 pounds since he has been there lol , they clean his non stop , change sheets and outfits non stop, fix his tv 📺 so caple is amazing, he’s happy ! 😃 and that’s what matters to me the most my father smiling and saying he’s okay in there. So they are amazing 💯 percent

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – A DANGEROUS, UNDERSTAFFED FACILITY!

While there are many kind and hardworking professionals at Novato Healthcare Center, they are clearly stretched far too thin. During the time my father was under their care, they received three citations from the State of California—a glaring red flag about the quality of their operations.

The most horrifying part? My father suffered a fall that they never even told us about. It wasn’t until he was transferred to a new facility that we discovered he had a broken clavicle—a clear case of neglect and malpractice.

This place isn’t about care—it’s about profit. The facility is owned by a slumlord who runs 80+ similar facilities in what appears to be a private equity-style model, where they squeeze every last cent out of their residents rather than investing in adequate staffing and proper medical attention. No wonder they can’t seem to retain good people.

If you value your loved one’s health and dignity, STAY AWAY. This place is a disgrace.
