Mt Nebo was great, that was my first time there! I finally checked it out. I enjoyed it! I liked the hiking, but I feel like I needed a little bit more time to explore further, so I'll be back!!!! It will be a nice place to camp some time too. The views are amazing. I even decided to stay to catch the sunset!

The Rim trail was excellent with incredible views. Our 5 and 6 year olds managed to make the full hike, about 3.3 miles, and enjoyed the playground. Looks like a great place to camp, especially when the pool is open.

My husband and I recently spent a few crisp fall days at Mount Nebo State Park in the historic Cottage #1, which has been completely renovated. It's quiet serenity is the perfect place to recharge, but be mindful, while Cottage #1 is truly wonderful, it is slightly removed from the incredible vistas offered by a number of the more rustic CCC cabins that line the western rim, like numbers 2 - 10 and 12 - 15. We plan on making a future trip in one of these for an entirely different experience. Mount Nebo is unique in that one can enjoy incredible vistas from North, South, East and West, each uniquely beautiful and special in its own right. There are miles of hiking trails ranging from easy to difficult, but aside from one difficult hike downward to the waterfall, we walked every square inch of the more easy top of the mountain roads and byways. Be sure to check out Cornwall House for a wonderful history told in pictures and verse. There's a great pool with a view and a visitor's center worth a visit. This was our first but definitely not our last visit to this lovely park.

It was a rainy day however still a wonderful time. I went to the hike-in campsites which are outstanding! It takes about 15-20 minutes to hike into these secluded camp spots. They all have fire pits, picnic tables and a level spot for your tent. I will definitely camp here next. Some of the mountain bike trails are located in this area also.

Wow!!! The drive up the mountain was steep but beautiful. The views are outstanding and absolutely breathtaking. We decided on hiking the Rim Trail. It was a mile hike. It was absolutely beautiful. The trail was not to difficult. There were many areas that had cool and massive rock formations. We saw lots of beautiful flowers and wildlife. The park is very unique, and the view at the back of the Visitor Center is so beautiful and amazing! We were so happy to spend the day at Mount Nebo. We hope to go back sometime and stay in one of their many cabins and hike a different trail.

Mount Nebo State Park in Dardanelle offers breathtaking views from the top, perfect for soaking in the natural beauty of the Arkansas River Valley. The lush forests and rolling hills stretch out in every direction, with sunsets that paint the sky in vibrant hues. Although there's a nice hiking trail, I decided to be lazy this time and skipped it. Instead, I flexed my muscles at the summit and enjoyed the view—sometimes, the best moments come from just taking it easy!

Overall loved the park! Beautiful scenery. Wasn’t lucky enough to get one of the campsites on the rim, but I booked last minute. Site 18 did not have much shade and was mostly gravel. The little patch of sparse grass by the water spigot was not very level, but it did ok for my small tent.

Had to leave after only 1 night (was supposed to stay 3) because a woman with loud unruly kids and a dog that wouldn’t stop barking at my dog moved into the site next to me.

By the time they showed up the office was closed and I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to change sites mid-stay. I decided to just cut my trip short. It’s a risk with camping, unfortunately. If you can’t control your kids or dog you shouldn’t take them to a campground though.

Always beautiful up here and love the wildlife. It would be nice if there were vending machines since the visitor center closes at 5 and for people just making a trip for the sunset they may need a drink. There is a fountain in the bathhouse where you can fill your bottle though.
