My husband and I have stayed in a lot of cabins and traveled quite a bit but none of them compare to here. We felt relaxed right from the start. The cabin is so inviting, cozy, secluded, and offers everything you could want for the perfect getaway in nature. One of our favorite parts was the bed swing on the porch, especially on the chilly mornings and nights! The owners are so kind and went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home. If we had any questions or concerns they were more than happy to help us out. Truly the best place we have ever stayed. The creek was so relaxing and there were so many different trails for hiking as well as UTV riding all within distance of the cabin. We were able to take our utv and ride directly from the cabin out to Little Mo. Falls as well as many other trails, creeks, and ponds around the area. We were very pleased with our stay and the accommodations, we cannot wait to stay there again!

Sites 1-3 were absolutely amazing. The owners were so nice and helpful. It stormed our first two nights there and we found out the morning after the first night of storms that they rode down at around 5 AM to check the water levels and to just make sure we were good (without waking us during our only time of sleep that night). The creek was perfect for all of our kiddos. They really enjoyed swimming, floating, looking for rocks, and fishing! A great time was had by all and our hosts were amazing! The little general store has almost everything you could possible need, as well! We also made the trip to Crooked Creek Falls and Little Missouri Falls!

We’ve had the pleasure of visiting here a couple of times, staying both in the Cabin and at the campground.

The amazingly thought out and perfectly appointed cabin also comes with a neat backstory, having been built with lumber from their land. The creek right along side just hits the spot for me!

The campground is also well planned. Spacious so no risk of overlapping your next site over neighbors, well maintained and easy to access.

Everything about Fancy Hill is as they advertise…and then some!

What a wonderful place to stay. We were made to feel at home. It was a great place to get away and just relax. The porch swing was very nice and comfortable. I even got a good nap in. We enjoyed our hikes around the property also. The creek was so nice to listen to. If you are looking for a place to get away from the busy I highly recommend Fancy Hill Cabins. Also going to Little Missouri Falls is a must another peaceful stop to see God's creation.

What an incredible get away for us to ring in the new year! Hubby had stayed in the primitive campsites and had the opportunity to view the cabin, Lil Rustic Retreat, as he was checking out. He absolutely fell in love with it and gifted me with a stay here as part of our Christmas. Upon arrival, we were able to chat with the owners Jon & Renea, and hear the history of the property and how Fancy Hill Cabins & RV park became what it is today. Absolutely amazing host! There's a cute lil general store on the property that they own, that you can pick up snacks, some groceries, and other lil fun finds! The next town is about 20 minutes out, which is VERY nice! The cabin was beyond my expectations! The heaters were on, as it was 45 degrees out when we arrived, there was a small lamp on, as well as the radio on low making us feel so welcomed when we opened the door! The cabin is fully stocked with any dishes or cookware you could possibly need. There was plenty of towels/rags, and the bed was SO comfortable with multiple blankets in various weights. There was snacks, coffee, filtered water, and plenty of items for smores! The futon was super comfy to sit on, as well as the unique table in the center of the room. There were games galore available for after dark fun or on a rainy day! We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing listening to the creek out front, as well as sitting out by the fire one night. There's plenty of lighting around the cabin so you can see where you going. There's plenty of magazines and books available for a nice relaxing read. The handmade and unique decor makes this cabin one that we will always remember and tell all our friends about! We were within minutes away from a lake with fishing available and beautiful falls. There's several trails available nearby as well as state parks with activities if you want to leave the cabin for the day! We honestly can't wait to come back!

Loved this place! Can't wait to come back.
We camped here two nights in May. Beautiful location right on a perfectly clear river. The campsite with clean, so pretty, calm and quiet. We were provided with ample firewood, the cleanest port-a-potty, and a nice picnic table. The host was very welcoming and stopped for a nice chat and gave us tips on where to go around the area which was super helpful. We ended up doing the recommended waterfall hike. If you're coming from the Dallas area it's a quick and pretty drive for the perfect getaway. I will cherish the memory spent here and thank Fancy Hill for the great stay

Perfect escape away from the hustle and bustle! This cabin has so much to offer. The host thought of everything. There’s a fire pit, a bbq pit, picnic table, rocking chairs, a swing bed, and plenty of games. The inside of the cabin is stocked as well! This cabin is just a short drive away from little Missouri falls and Albert pike! My husband and I plan on visiting again in the future so we can explore more of the ouachita national forest.
