Communicating with the management team via text message was timely, accessible, and like chatting with a friend. They were also highly accommodating. We rented a house in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and it was absolutely wonderful! Looked newly remodeled, very clean and was a great location to get to the college and downtown area. There was 4 of us , and room for more if needed…it was really great for us to have separate rooms, and spread out. We also enjoyed a cornhole tournament in the backyard. Big kitchen and a huge dining table as well.

Our recent experience with Cohova was deeply disappointing and incredibly stressful. We booked a property through Airbnb months in advance for a highly anticipated football weekend in Fayetteville (October 19th), expecting to stay close to campus and Dickson Street. However, we were informed by Cohova just one day before our scheduled arrival that our reservation was double-booked.

Apparently, the property had changed hands from Airbnb to Cohova sometime after we booked, and it seems Cohova did not take the necessary steps to transfer over existing bookings or inform us of any changes. Instead, we were left scrambling to find alternative accommodations on the eve of our arrival. A representative did help us secure a new property, but this was in West Fayetteville—significantly farther from our original location, which was the entire reason we chose the property in the first place. This last-minute change not only took us farther from where we wanted to be but also led to extra transportation expenses and a huge inconvenience.

To top it all off, the cost of the new property was over $2,100, far more than our original reservation cost of $1,676. Cohova refused to honor their own policy under Section 15, which states ""The Rental Agent will offer the Guest the replacement Property in lieu of the Property at a cost not to exceed what we expended by the Guest of the reservation" . Cohova cited Airbnb's involvement as the reason for not honoring this, yet this “fine print” is not mentioned in your terms

This experience showed us that Cohova lacks a handle on their properties and does not ensure the accuracy of bookings transferred over from other agencies. We won't be using Cohova again and would strongly advise caution to anyone considering them for their travel plans.

We had a great time. It is a beautiful place very close to downtown Bentonville, the bike trails, museums, etc. And, having a safe garage to store the care and bikes made it super relaxing. We loved it and will definitely stay again.

I am very frustrated and disappointed with Cohova’s handling of the situation we ran into a couple of weeks ago. No guest should ever have to deal with such poor treatment or be left without accommodations the night before their stay. We initially paid $1,676 for a property booked through Airbnb, and it was only after I reached out that we were informed of a double booking.

Although a representative did find us a new property, it ended up costing us more than our original booking. Cohova refused to follow Section 15, which states that guests should not pay more than their original reservation for a replacement property: “The Rental Agent will offer the Guest the Replacement Property in lieu of the Property at a cost not to exceed what was expended by the Guest for the Reservation.” Instead, we were forced to pay over $2,100 because Cohova cited our Airbnb booking as a reason for not honoring the policy—something that is not mentioned in your terms.

It’s completely unacceptable that we were charged extra and nearly saw over a month of planning fall apart for something they messed up on. This is a terrible way to treat your customers.
