Our stay did not live up to our standards.

First, the staff interaction we did have was good. There's a huge difference between the night employees and morning. The morning staff were super friendly. The lady in the morning stopped us and encouraged us to take some breakfast for the kids to go.

We checked in at night. We have a family of six. We had 3 towels in our room. We asked for more and was given 2 and was told that's all they have.

There was no linen for the pullout. Went back and waited at the desk, trying to get service for about 15 minutes. Finally, I made a decision to enter the laundry room and grab our own linen.

The outside of the hotel looked new. The lobby looked clean and new also. The rest of the hotel is not so much. The pool was closed for repairs. Our bathroom needed some love.

Felt safe parking and on the outside of the hotel.

We are currently on a 13-day road trip. We are staying at a new hotel every night. This experience overall was nothing like the rest. By far, it is our worst experience at a hotel.
In 4 more days, we have another Holiday Inn reservation. I hope that experience will be much better.

Adequate hot breakfast.
Clean rooms and easy access to the interstate highway.

Only a few minutes from downtown El Dorado.

Doesn't rent to locals, presumably because of problems in the past. Great location for out of town workers.

I'm staying here on and off over the past 20 years. Always a great place. Showers are the finest. No better place in town in my opinion.

The front desk is awesome shout out to aunt brandy for always making sure things are on point for your stay if you want to know about anything ask her she's the best.

The room was so clean and smelled fresh, right next to the elevator on the first floor and it was so quiet and comfortable. I’m so happy they had the (all Dove products not the cheap generic stuff ) shampoo/conditioner/ body wash dispensers in the shower because my little travel ones were almost empty. They have fresh coffee all day. The breakfast was great compared to other hotels I’ve been in recently. |The young ladies in the morning at the front desk were fantastic, very helpful, and so kind. They recommended a place for dinner at the Flying Burger, and it was delicious. They just made the place so welcoming, almost home away home. I travel a Lot and I appreciate them so much

This hotel is what you would usually expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Don’t go thinking you’re at a 5 star, and you’ll be fine. The first night I had no TV, it would come on, but just showed white snow on the screen. I called the desk and was told they knew nothing about the TVs, but I could switch rooms if I wanted. I had already unpacked 3 nights worth of stuff, so that wasn’t happening. The next morning I went down and talked to them, the lady this time knew exactly what the problem was and had to bring the master remote to the room to change the input. Just a suggestion but maybe check that before a new guest arrives? Everything else was fine and in par with other HIE.

I stay here frequently because of proximity to my job and its one of the nicer hotels in town. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are fairly standard and clean. The pool however has been undergoing Maintenance for several months so if you want to swim then id suggest going elsewhere. The ice makers on both 2nd and 3rd are not functioning, presumably because they prefer to sell you $3 bottle of water at the desk. Its fairly nice for work accomodations but quite disappointing for the Holiday Inn brand.
