So I am giving this Candlewood 5 stars based on the friendliness of the staff. We stay here because of proximity to my father in laws house and have had a peaceful stay every time. Check in is quick and you’re just a few minutes from downtown. The rooms are what you would expect, clean, basic, and comfy bed. There are other places we could stay when we visit but no matter who is working the front desk, they always greet you with a big smile and genuinely ask you how your day is going. Very good spot off the highway if your traveling

The place is old/worn and had a musty smell in the lobby and room. Got off on my floor and it smelled horrible. It may have been coming from a large trashcan that was right outside the elevator and needed to be emptied. Wouldn't stay here again

I truly enjoyed the front desk staff, as they always greeted me and made me feel valued. I especially felt valued when interacting with Christina because she greeted me by my name, which is not common.

My room was overall clean, but I would recommend my particular room to have a deep clean of the kitchen floor, bath tub drain and the skirt of the bed.

I would stay here again and recommend this Candlewood Suites to friends and family.

Please DO NOT stay at this location!! My husband stayed here for 3 days with NO housekeeping. We had to stay in a room with trash and piles of wet towels. When I approached the front desk I was told the entire housekeeping staff was off. I understand that people should have time off , but if you’re expecting guest they should be notified of this so they make the decision to stay or not. I’ve been waiting for the Christiana (manager) to call me for hours, but she’s refused to call. So, please think twice before staying here.

We arrived very early, tried to see when we might could check in. I was told they would call us when our room was available. 3 PM comes around, go inside to check in, greeted like they had never spoke with me. We get settled in our room and all we can hear is stomping and yelling from upstairs. They called the front desk and she graciously took care of the problem. At almost 10 pm, it starts again, even louder. Call up front ain't again she gets them to be quiet. Then it starts up again at 4 am, The way you're done, pack up, and go to check out. Then, I'm told that they cannot check us out because of some issues with the night audit. So i'm not able to get a receipt. She reassured me that as soon as they were able to check us out that she would email me a copy of my receipt, and as you can guess there is not one. The sound proof rooms are a joke.
