Best advice I can give is...BOOOK THEEEM!

Planning a wedding is way more stressful than you anticipate at the start.
Amid all the fun parts, there are so many tiny details that you have to remember and execute well, and that is TOO MUCH to have flying around your head when you want to enjoy the fun parts!

Siobhan & Tania were so helpful, they made it clear that they were happy to plan as little or as much as we wanted them to. We opted to plan the decorations and organize how we wanted everything, but then to leave the executing to them.

Especially if you're like me (have a hard time letting go of doing all the jobs myself), it's a life saver having Francis & James Wedding Planners there. I knew that any hiccup would be sorted, and it was a weight off my mind being able to have them make the phone calls and bookings for me.

We wanted a very Organic (some may say hippie), wild, circus-feeling wedding, blending two cultures where the decor wasn't overly perfect and the flowers were wild and natural. Siobhan & Tania didn't force us to change our style and vision for the day, in order to conform to a more traditional wedding style. They helped us make it perfectly imperfect which is JUST what we wanted. They even built garden games (for the mingle) for us, as I had the intention to do it but none of the time.

It makes such a difference to all the months leading up to & the wedding day to that know someone has their eye on all the details, big and small, and is ready to jump if anything should go wrong last minute. They went above and beyond to help me, even to the point where, when my driver (a friend) didn't turn up to my house due to some GPS issues, and they made sure I got to the ceremony in one piece, and ON TIME!

Our wedding day was better than I could have dreamed of! Me and my now husband got engaged and decided to marry within 3 months. This brought with it many challenges, but in addition to those challenges we chose to have the wedding at a destination location in the UK. Francis & James Wedding Planners were not phased by any of this and overcame any obstacles in a calm and professional fashion.

During the planning process, Tania and Siobhan attended appointments with me, to ensure no details were overlooked and to assist in making decisions that would mean all of our guests needs and taste were catered for. This included the wine and food tasting session that the venue provided.

I do have a tendency to be a bit of a perfectionist. They had a lot of patience with me and worked hard to make everything look exactly how I imagined.

Come the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. I shouldn’t have been surprised because I had seen their proficiency throughout the planning process. From the moment that I was awake and began getting ready Tania and Siobhan were at my side organising the wedding party, the photographer, the hairstylists, the chauffeur. They kept a keen eye on the time and was directing all involved to ensure nothing fell behind time.

Many married friends told me “something will go wrong on the day, it always does, just ignore it and be determined to enjoy your day”. Nothing went wrong! Everything was exactly on time, and exactly to plan. This was not a co-incidence. It was because Francis & James Wedding Planners we’re so organised and were working hard behind the scenes to accomplish a wonderful day.

The best part was that the guests were all so happy, everyone told us “that was the best wedding I’ve ever been to.” This included 20 of our guests that came from Canada.

Francis & James wedding planners were professional, polished and a pleasure to work with. Communication was swift and easy and on the wedding day all the vendors were fully updated and kept aware of what was happening. Prior to the wedding, we were sent a schedule / timeline from Tania and Francis + James and on the day both worked tirelessly. If you need wedding planners don't hesitate to commission Francis + James. As photographers we wish all our weddings could run as smoothly as ones that have been planned by Francis + James!

Tania and Siobhan took over the running of our wedding at Middleton Hall with only weeks to go till our big day. They checked and double checked every detail. We thought we were thorough, but these guys were relentless in their attention to the smallest of details!

Nothing could be too much trouble. They laid out the Hall with tables and chairs in a 'dummy-run' of the wedding breakfast to check there was adequate space in our seating plan, and assisting wherever needed when a revised plan was recommended. Quite a lot of unexpected work undertaken to ensure our big day was perfect, but undertaken proactively and with zeal.

Their speed in communications, thoroughness in attention and speed of resolution applied to every nook and cranny of the whole day is very reassuring.

On the day itself, they were everywhere, covering all the bases and seeing to every minor element with professionalism, accuracy and flair. Indeed they seemed no issues at all, as all was well under control from start to finish. Without a doubt, these are hard working ladies- but things come out so smooth, one could be forgiven for not realizing!

In short, I can't recommend this duo highly enough. It's all there! Event planning and execution of the highest order, yes, but more than that they add creativity, empathy, passion, drive and energy, along with impeccable customer service. Why? because your big day is every bit just as important to them.
