Rooms seem nice at first glance, good amenities and modern appeal. However, the parking (at least on the east side) is not truck/suv friendly, very tight spaces. I could not open my doors in the one spot that I found near my room and barely managed to squeeze into. I didn't want to get my bosses vehicle dinged up, so I had to park way down by the office. I didn't like parking far from my room because the first thing that I saw after checking in was the local sheriffs chasing a meth-head through the parking lot. Therefore, I was naturally concerned about security. I asked the front desk to switch me to a room on the west side where there is more parking available but was told "no pets on that side." I have a service dog, not "just a pet," and told them that so it shouldn't matter. They replied that "they didn't want to have to do a deep clean after having a pet in the room." This statement told me they had a lazy cleaning staff and made me question the actual cleanliness of the room that seems clean at just a precursory glance. This was confirmed when I got out of the shower and walked barefoot on the floor for a minute to get dressed, then noticed that the bottoms of my feet were dirty when I went to put shoes on. A "deep clean" including moping should be performed on each room between guests regardless of pets or not. I returned to my room around lunch the next day to change clothes and happened to witness the cleaning lady busily talking on her phone while leaving the room a couple doors down from mine. It's hard to do a good job cleaning with at least one hand holding a phone and your attention on a conversation instead of the job at hand.
Suggestions to make it 5 stars:
1. Repaint the stripes to make your parking spots wider.
2. Get your cleaning staff to do a more thorough job, mop the floors! Maybe a "leave your phone in the office while working" policy is in order.
3. Get a security guard to patrol the parking areas at night and watch out for your guests' vehicles or at least install cameras on the stair towers facing down each direction at the parking areas so the night attendant can monitor them.

Very nice rooms, newly remodeled. Would've given 5 stars, but the showers haven't been remodeled yet and the lobby was still under construction so no breakfast. Pool was good, wish there was a skimmer to use though just to get the few bugs off the top. The pool was clean, there's just trees nearby, the bugs are inevitable. Also a hot tub that heats up really quick.

This has been our family's go to place for years. We stayed earlier this summer. No issues. However, the amount of rift raft hanging around this weekend is terrible and they are breaking in cars and stealing. It is very bad late at night and there must be someone staying here contributing to the vandals. Today we watched this guy make 10 trips down hill to the back side of this place. Opposite side of the pool. The Village Inn has been a decent place but considering what is happening in the vicinity, I feel the need to warn others. For us it was a loss of less than $100. Another guest witnessed the theft at 430a. It was the same guy we saw all day long. I feel very bad for owners who have remodeled and made the facilities nice. Unless they can keep this property safe, everyone is at risk.

This is not a very accommodating hotel. They don't really offer a real breakfast, and they will shut it down early. The staff has an attitude problem, and they do not like it when you ask a question such as "Can I have extra towels for the room?" Be prepared for eye rolls at check-in and check-out. Bare rooms with no comfortable chairs or typical hotel paperwork like TV information. Room windows do not have curtains, just broken blinds. Doors looked like they had been broken into before. The room was clean with no bugs.

I have a dog so I am in a "dog room". Love the floors. No carpet. Only one paper cup for coffee. I need plastic cups. Found the ice machines and washers and dryers.
On the maps app it says 5 hours and 18 minutes. I have been driving up here for 3 years.and yesterday it was 8 hour and 30 minutes driving at 75 to 80 mph.
Glad to be here. Good location. Nice staff.

Kind of hidden (hint) it's behind everything you see.
This place is like a hidden gem. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. They are at this time under remodeling but will be worth it in the I'm end. Rooms are super clean. Fridge , microwave, TV with plenty of options. And super comfy bed. Will DEFINITELY be my go to spot when in the area.

Great place to stay away from home. Nice clean rooms, breakfast is awesome, great outdoor pool, and one last thing STAFF is really helpful with smile. We will definitely be staying next time we are in town.
Love it

Positive: Beautiful scenic location, it was perfect for my family reunion. Negative: There were a few cleaning issues that I discussed with the Manager.
