I visit mostly in the summer to play disc golf and enjoy nature. Such a treasure! The diversity of flora and fauna speaks to the little niche of unspoiled land in the heart of central arkansas. Bring a druidic spirit and some bug spray. Take beautiful memories and some peace of mind.

We are so excited to go back to the splash pad this summer. I think the cost was $5 per person last year, and they only took cash. That frustrated a few people trying to get in because they thought it was free and didn't bring cash. I'm not sure if a season pass can be bought.

The pad is still fairly new, so the equipment looks great. The multiple slides were a big hit! Plenty of shaded places for adults to sit, and quite a few employees making sure everyone was safe. They were a little... short... with kids who weren't completely following the rules, but I'd take that over having the employees not care at all.

Definitely a good place to take the kids for a few hours on a hot day ?

The children's park equipment was fine. They have 1 gazebo that is old and a little rough father away from the building. It serves as a nice shaded area to watch kids play on the play ground. We didn't go in the building. There was a wedding going on. The other pavilion was bigger and much nicer looking. They had it decorated very beautifully for the wedding. It would be a lovely place to have a reception or family reunion. There was an open area that had some construction vehicles sitting idle. I'm not sure what they might be building.

We drive through here every year and look at the Christmas lights, my, now husband and I tried to do this for our first date 5 years ago and pulled up just after they closed, which prompted one of the most memorable nights of my life that has lead to a very happy marriage. So in a way I have Sherwood Forest to thank for my happiness, so I highly recommend checking it out at Christmas time ❤

I did really get to many pictures, honestly we did stay long we went for the city of Sherwood Easter egg hunt, which was free and open to kids 0 - 10 years old. We didn't stay long because it had rain about an hour or to prior to the hunt. They had about 8000+ eggs soe the kids. I believe they enjoyed it ? Will definitely be going back to visit on a hotter day.

Went for Disc golf. Got to say I've played on 50 different courses throughout the US. And Sherwood is in my top 5. It's a bit of a challenge for newer players, but it's still fun.
