No swimming. Flush toilets are a plus, but shower water only comes in two temps... 2nd or 3rd degree burns. Nearest swimming hole is a different campground 30 min away. Makes a July weekend on the river absolutely miserable.

Pretty as can be, for sure. Staff is very nice. Won't come back unless it's sometime in January.

Able to book a weekend site on short notice after weather changed plans for Kansas. Pleasantly surprised of sites on the Arkansas River. Nearby restaurants and shopping. Will definitely stay hear again while traveling I-40!

Positive: hot water and good pressure in showers

nice views everywhere except C camping spots
Negatives:
Almost everywhere you are going to have small and large stickers on you. Makes taking walks, walking the dogs and children playing outside very painful.
The showers on in C side have a 5 second button, which of the 5 campgrounds I've been to this year, is the shortest timer.
This is not on a quite spot on the river. There is a train and constant humming of factories.
No dog park/recreation area, which should be standard at parks that require leashes.

Enjoyed our stay for the eclipse. The train came through once during the night, so be aware of that. Very nice state park in a beautiful part of Arkansas.

This is a very nice park. We enjoyed our stay. You can fish, watch the barges come through, or just relax. Many people talk about the trains that come through. I think if you're in a tent you will hear them, but in our trailer we didn't even notice them. Beautiful area with playgrounds for the kids and bathrooms with showers. Nice paved roads and pads. They have fire pits and picnic tables at each site. There is also a boat launch.

Really well-kept park with nice, spacious spots. No real access to the river in area F so fishing is out, unless you take a short walk, but we enjoyed watching the barges. The washout (just outside the park) was a nasty mess, but that was due to a guy using a busted drain hose. We caught him while he was trying to wash the poo water off the asphalt, but it puddled right in the middle. ‍♀️ They do have another washout located inside the park and both were in great condition when we arrived. Attendants were rolling through consistently and everyone was very friendly. Great place to go.

This is a Great stop if your just wanting to rest and relax. Watch a little river traffic and some wildlife. Very clean and well maintained, friendly hosts when we were there. Almost all sites have a river view.

Probably the best RV campground I have stayed in for a very long time! Easy back-up spots right on the water. Large trees for plenty of shade. The spaces have 50amp power hook-ups and water hook ups. Two dump stations on the grounds. Near the quaint little town of Ozark with gas stations, restaurants, laundromat and grocery shopping. Amazing views of the water with geese and cranes. Very reasonable prices as well!
