Where do I even begin. Libby has become more than just our wedding planner, she is now a friend for life. WE WOULD HAD BEEN LOST WITHOUT HER. From the moment my husband and I met her, I knew she HAD to be our wedding planner. We clicked from the start and I knew she could make our wedding dream a reality. We spent the last year and a half planning our special day with Upon Occasion, and she guided us through it all. She helped picked vendors that fit our budget perfectly while also giving us everything we wanted and more. I’m almost sad my is wedding over because she made the planning process so seamless for us. We just had our wedding on Friday, Aug 30th and it exceeded my expectations. If I could write an essay on how much we enjoyed ourselves I would. Upon Occassion was the well oiled machine that got us through it all. She was SO prepared on our wedding day, that if anything did go wrong, I had no idea. From the very start, Libby showed incredible dedication and commitment, never watching the clock and always going above and beyond to make sure every question was answered and every aspect of the day was thoughtfully planned.

Libby was a true driver throughout the planning process. She took charge, kept us on track, and brought great ideas for seating arrangements, menus, and place cards that we executed. Her passion for making our day perfect really showed—she was always willing to go the extra mile and regularly came to us for in-person meetings, which made communication so easy and ensured everything was in line with our vision.

Her impressive network of industry connections helped us source key elements, like our floor decal, and she showed a deep understanding of the cultural nuances we wanted to include in our celebration. Though we hired her for "month of" planning, in retrospect, we wish we had her expertise earlier in the process. Her guidance could have provided valuable cost savings in negotiations and ensured even more seamless planning from the start.

We just got married this past June and worked with Libby. Libby with us from the start! She was absolutely amazing to work with and our wedding wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without her! Aside from being the absolute best and so much fun to work with, Libby had incredible attention to detail throughout the whole planning process and especially on the day of the wedding! She helped us select all our vendors, offered consultation for colors pallets and designs, negotiated with our vendors, made sure all our scheduling was perfect for the day off, juggled all vendors we were working with, and managed all our families different personalities and needs!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and truly couldn’t have done it with her! If you’re considering a wedding planner, she’s the best!

We envisioned an elegant Russian-Egyptian fusion wedding, and Libby made it a BETTER reality in just 3 months from start to finish. She made it so easy, and we loved working with her! Libby is fundamentally a project manager and she did everything everywhere from the big picture down to the little details and wouldn’t rest until it was perfect. She’s extremely diligent and organized, professional, straightforward, and on top of her game leading the event, not to mention- hilarious; we just had the best time.

Libby went above and beyond at every step. She even negotiated custom packages and services that were unconventional and in some instances, not permissible, but she made it happen, truly having our best interest at heart.
