Stayed in the tree house cottage (FireFly) with our two kids and dog, we had a great time! It was very relaxing at the cottage and while exploring the grounds. Canoed two days in a row and the fresh, cool, spring-fed 64°/65° water felt great on 90°+ days. Sat in the water at the end, off the shore, it was very refreshing!
My favorite part about the place is that it's something different, with four cottages on the property you're not in a tourist trap, and the river hardly has anyone on it, you'll feel like you're away from things. Owners are great people too!
We'll definitely be back!

We love this remote place. The hosts are wonderful! Each cottage has their own personal golf cart, so you can go exploring. Each cottage is unique. We stayed in the Sweet Adeline, an old remodeled paddle boat. Watching the beautiful sunsets, the soaking tubs, driving the golf cart around, and sitting around the firepit are some of our favorite things to do!

Our absolute, favorite getaway!! Love the cottages, golf cart, the view is spectacular, the soaking tubs, the river... heck there's nothing about it we don't like!! Have been 3 times and stayed in 3 of the 4 cottages and will definitely be going back. Did I mention the soaking tubs? ?

This is the perfect place to relax and disconnect. My family of 4 enjoyed every moment. The river was great to canoe or kayak down. The gravel bar area was nice to relax by the river. We enjoyed riding around on the golf cart exploring. Playing corn hole and swinging on the tree swings were some of our favorite things. The fire pit was perfect to relax by at night.

This was our 8 month late honeymoon, it was well worth the wait. So Secluded very private. Not many people insight. So relaxing beautiful cool and breezy. The golf cart riding through the trails was beautiful. We stayed in the firefly, treehouse . It was so clean, had everything we needed . The host are the sweetest. Can’t wait to get back here on November for our 1st anniversary. Also they are working on a new cabin it’s a house boat that has an amazing view of the river. I’d highly recommend this for a getaway from reality. I’d give this 10 outta 5 stars

A+++++ hospitality. Beautiful property. The cabins included MANY small amenities that made it easy for us. The included private golf carts are one example. Nice supply of firewood ready for us. Towels and bed linens were perfect. Our cabin, Firefly, had a small fridge, stove/oven, and microwave. Our little dogs appreciated the gated deck. Excellent river access via the trails/karts, AND they took us on a private shuttle to the canoe put-in point at no charge. We enjoyed a scenic and relatively unchallenging float in cool, deep water with strong currents. Fishing would have been abundant for more competent anglers.

I can't recommend this place enough. You won't regret staying here.

What a great getaway. If your looking for the perfect place to unwind and relax with the spouse or family, this is it. Can't remember the last time we spent all day outside fishing, swimming, hiking, kayaking, horseshoes etc...The owners are always available and are super attentative providing all the essential amenities. The grounds are beautiful and the cottages are rustic and quaint.
