What a wonderful park for both fishing and kayaking. Multiple shaded areas that you can you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the river and watch kaykers navigate the rapids. Fishing seems to be great here as well. Well maintained sidewalks that are paved.

Siloam Springs Kayak Park is a great spot for families to enjoy the outdoors. You can swim, kayak down the river, have a BBQ, and soak in the beautiful nature around you. The park is dog-friendly, has public restrooms, and a few picnic tables for a nice meal. It’s the perfect place for a fun and relaxing day out! Get there early on holiday as it gets packed fast

What an amazing city park! We didn't go swimming today, but I can definitely see us coming back another time! We did see several empty beer bottles in a pile on one of the rocks out in the water, as well as some empty beer cans nearby, PLEASE remember to pack out what you pack in and leave it better than you found it! Such a beautiful place to be destroyed with trash! There were several spots in the shade to enjoy the water, and some really nice sitting areas on the rocks. The "rapids" are pretty rough for inexperienced swimmers so be cautious. There was a nice changing area, and a life jacket rental spot.

This is a great kayak park to have in NW Arkansas! There are several routes to go down the park, with a bit of diversity regarding what skills you're working on.

The one downside of the park (maybe) is that it gets super crowded with beach goers and swimmers during the weekends, so be prepared to show up early or possibly have to wait for parking ans the space is limited.

That being said, once in, the area to offload your kayak, canoe, or SUP is easy to use for loading and unloading. You can go down the park rapids, then pull your boat out and walk it back to the start, as many times as you want to while there. If you feel like it, there's nothing stopping you from exploring a little down past the park on the river too, as long as you don't mind paddling back up stream to leave. Oh and there is a small rock climbing structure that kids might like.

There are bathrooms, beach space, tables, and nice landscaping all around. It seems to be regularly getting better, but yeah, on the weekends, it's crowded.

This place is SO beautiful.
BUT. We drove a couple hours from outta town to be told, when we arrived, they close in 30 minutes (the website says 11pm). It was 8 when we arrived. So this was very irritating. They told us that their website has not been updated..
It’s the beginning of the summer season. You would think they would update the hours so people aren’t driving hours to be turned away.
Other than that, the spot was beautiful. $10 parking on weekends and holidays. Free through the week. But if the parking lot is full, you will be turned down as well. 100% call before you go. We will definitely give it another chance. But don’t trust the website.

Super awesome place to spend the day swimming and playing. The rapids are challenging in a kayak, but fun. Definitely more people flipping than not! But it's a pretty safe place to learn how to handle rapids.

But you don't need a kayak to have fun here. In fact, I'd recommend an inner tube, or even just body surfing it. The bottom is very smooth, and the big rocks are easily visible.

If you'd rather skip the rapids, there's several pools good for swimming, rocks to climb on, and even a great place to jump or swing into the water.

Facilities: Restrooms (portapotty style, pretty gross, but available), changing rooms, plenty of trashcans, loading/unloading area, picnic tables.

Rules: It is clearly posted NO charcoal grills, and NO alcohol. For what it's worth, there were at least 20 grills while we were there, and lots of beer drinking. I'm not saying you should break the rules, but lots of people do. Police patrol the area several times a day, which made it feel safe, but they did not enforce the posted rules.

Love this park! Only thing I’d change is the Karens that are there making sure you leave at exactly 8 pm. Not so fun having someone watch over you. Other than that it’s a real fun park!
