Very large and beautiful venue and property, well taken care of. Excellent place for weddings, anniversaries, company, and other parties and celebrations.
Nice sized Wedding Chapel, very accessible with both stairs and a nice approach ramp. Restrooms near the entrance.
Very large reception hall with lofts in the main building, for both small to large groups. Outdoor covered patio and grass lawn could be used for many purposes.
Large gazebo with fountains, several water features around the property, numerous photo opportunities, and backdrops.
This is a gated property with multiple marked parking spaces with handicapped access and spaces on top of the circle drive. Additional overflow parking is available if needed.
The maps apps usually direct you to AR 107 to Kellogg Acres Rd north to the property. We found using Brockington to Oakdale Rds from US 167 the quickest and most efficient route from I-40 in the North Little Rock area.
Did I mention the Helipad ?

I loved photographing at the Venue at Oakdale. The chapel and reception hall are simply stunning and beautifully designed, still allowing brides to decorate to their taste. In addition to that, there are so many spots outside for photos. Carol, who coordinated the wedding was both professional and had years of experience that showed throughout the day. Can’t wait to photograph a wedding there again!!!

We went for our company safety day and there was not a single area here that I did not love. From the building (inside and out) to the grounds, this place is GORGEOUS! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Venue for literally anything and everything!

Let me be clear, I only attended a wedding. I did not book an event. I do not have value in comparison to cost or inside of what all that entailed. The Venue at Oakdale was nice. Not amazing in comparison to some in Little Rock or toward Vilonia but nice especially bc there’s no difficulty finding it and it’s not an extensive distance from NLR. I think it had a lot going for it. At the front left is a large decked area next to a pond w/ the fountain, Ceremony Building, & to the right is the Reception Building.
Ceremony area seemed to hold 350 ppl with no problem. Well lit and inside temp was comfortable. The ceiling in there is a distasteful in my opinion bc it looks like it was spray insulated and painted but that doesn’t effect my review rating. I didn’t check out the bathroom but there is a men’s & women’s at the entrance that is easy to find. It seemed like the flow in to there was good other than the back and forth wheelchair ramp was the only point of getting to the doors unless, & that leads me to the Reception Building. That is the main hangout of the event. There are nice wide open steps up to the entry doors and plenty of room on the drive up for dropping off. Plus a few (maybe 8-10) spots for parking without walking up the drive. The bldg inside is spacious and had upper level sitting event area as well. Also, the climate control was great but it was only 74 and beautiful outside. Through the back of the Rec. Bldg, is a nice open back covered area with beautiful trees and has a great open country feel even though you’re right in town.

All in all, to give an honest rating for this review, I would have to know the details of cost and what came with that cost.
I will stay at 4 stars for these reasons. There was no wow factor to the inside or outside but there was nothing horrible.
There are somethings I didn’t like. These are: the painted foam insulated ceiling in the both buildings, the lack of steps leading directly up to that building, very uncomfortable chairs for anyone with butt big enough to wear a 36” waist & up, the lack of passage to walk from the parking lot up to the Venue, the horrible & dangerous gravel on the overflow parking that tore up my shoes, the lack of a paved path to the beautiful dock by the pond, & lastly, the clear chairs that were used around the tables in the right building seemed unsteady or weak. I could totally be mistaken bc I’ve seen some with a high weight capacity but use caution.

The things I enjoyed: the wide open space in both buildings, the multitude of parking (especially if they paved the rest or at least used different gravel to walk on, the dock area and pond/fountain, the upper story level in the rec area, and the beautiful natural looking area in the back. I know there is a lot of area that I didn’t explore since I wasn’t the one booking an event here. I would be willing to talk with someone to evaluate more precisely.

The Venue at Oakdale is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever seen! My wonderful husband recently passed away and Carol as well as Todd at the venue were so kind, gracious, and accommodating when hosting our family for a Celebration of Life reception. Thank you, Carol, for all your support before, during, and afterwards! Even though we had just met, you treated me as a friend that wanted to help any way you could. We will never be able to thank you enough for your time and generosity and for allowing us to be together during our time of grief. If I could give the venue 10 stars I would in a heartbeat. Please consider this wonderful place when hosting your next event - it will not disappoint!

My wife and I held our wedding at the Venue at Oakdale last weekend and we had a lovely experience! Staff was easy to get in touch with from the beginning and we visited the venue a couple of times before the big day to see and make arrangements/plans. They hold open houses as well occasionally, which was the perfect time for us to come again, ask questions, take measurements, etc. The whole venue is extremely beautiful as is and has plenty of chairs and tables for all but the biggest events, and the groom/bridal suites are fabulous and spacious as we had at least 8 of us in each (loved the ping pong table!). We were able to utilize the chapel space for our ceremony, the large hall for our reception, the back outdoor space for our dance floor, and the corridor in between for our sendoff! The outdoor space as mentioned, is quite large - large enough for us to have our dance floor out there, though all music has to be moved inside at 10:30pm since there are homes nearby.

The venue has a large, full sized kitchen with lots of fridge storage space, ice maker machine, and a separate bar area with regular sized fridge. Our bartenders and caterers were able to easily utilize the space to set up, prep, and prepare everything throughout our event.

The only overall minor hiccup we had was that the table layout the day of wasn't exactly what we had specified it to be, but it did not take long to do a few small adjustments and make it how we wanted it on the morning of. Venue staff was present the morning of and very helpful as well to get things smoothly set up and going. We were able to personalize our names for the lighted design "GOBO" that shines on one of the walls and on the floor of the venue.

We highly recommend this venue not only for weddings of any size, but for other events that are looking for a beautiful, spacious place!
