We had a great time with Captain Ron! The trip was so relaxing & beautiful, full of great information. We learned so much about the lake , the trees, & the wildlife. He gave special attention to the kids on our tour & made their experience one to remember. We definitely recommend his tour & hope to come back.

We had a group of 10 take the swamp boat tour and we all enjoyed it so much. You can't even imagine the beauty as you gently glide down the bayou among all those cypress trees. It is so serene!
I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to just relax and enjoy God's beautiful creation!
Captain Ron was a great host, and very very informative! I never knew there was so much to learn about the bald cypress tree and the history this place holds! Jean was so kind to snap a group photo for us too.
Can't wait to go back and take an evening excursion to experience the beauty of "The Golden Hour"!

Awesome experience! Ron was great, he shared a lot of history of the river, lakes, animals and beautiful Cypress trees ? Will definitely go again soon. It was a 3+ hour drive for us but well worth the time & money. Be sure to grab some food/drinks at the watering hole and visit their gift shop before you leave

What a fun family experience! Captain Ron is a great guide, very knowledgeable about the lake and it's history. Our group was age 3 to 69 and we all had fun and can't wait to come back for a moonlight tour. My son who is blind also enjoyed the trip and was able to experience it through the vivid descriptions from our guide.

I was a solo traveler visiting Caddo lake. I wanted to go take a closer look at the swamps - the tour is run by a nice couple who are very welcoming. The husband took us (about 12 people at a time) on the pontoon tour. He is very knowledgable about the area and described in detail about the history of the area, the local events and the flora and fauna in the area. The tour itself is very surreal and is something one should consider if you have a couple of hours in the area. Im coming back here for the tour sometime soon with my family.

My husband and I had an amazing time on our swamp tour. We received a warm welcome and were pleasantly surprised to learn that we had the privilege of being the only two guests on the boat. The scenery was so unique, with those bald cypress trees featuring their 'knees,' all hung with Spanish moss—an airborne plant that turns green in water. We had deliberately worn long pants to avoid getting bitten, but to our surprise, there were no mosquitoes at all. The ecological environment at Caddo Lake was truly incredible. The flora and fauna were all engagingly narrated by Captain Ron, making our trip even more meaningful. Next time, I would love to explore every corner of Caddo Lake on a boat!

Great experience, our group enjoyed the opportunity to get up close and personal with this beautiful lake. Captain Ron was very knowledgeable and wonderful at including children. Will be returning in October, can’t wait to see the fall colors!
