Came for the 1st Texarkana Market. This was the 1st one, so it was a little of a letdown. But hopefully, the ones in the future will be better. The conversation center was very nice, just not a lot of foot traffic. Most of the other vendors shut down early.

I stay here frequently- every few months. The staff is helpful and always friendly. The rooms and bed are consistently fine. Sometimes a lamp doesn’t work. Location is near decent restaurants. There’s always parking. Fridge and coffee maker in the room. I’ll continue to stay here.

Complaints- the conference rooms are always freezing. I have to wear sweaters and coats in the middle of summer to be just partially comfortable. When I stay multiple nights, they throw away the soap bar and replace it every day. That seems wasteful and unnecessary. Finally, even though their restaurant doesn’t serve lunch, they won’t let us have lunch delivered to our meeting from an outside vendor. This always means lost time to our group when we have to stop our meeting and go out to eat.

Such a beautiful place. You wouldn't think it from the outside but once you enter it gets a lot better. The outside sitting areas are beautiful and more secluded then you would think. We went to a gem show here and it was a cool place to walk through and take pictures.

We visited the Convention Center for an event. It was advertised to be a BBQ but they served dry chicken which was NOT grilled or cooked with BBG sauce and some sort of sausage and pepper mix that was just …meh. There was pecan pie for dessert and since it was so soon after Thanksgiving, we had had our fill of pecan pie….BLAH!

I think they could have done much better!!

A gorgeous hotel! Recently remodeled and it is fabulous! It is decorated in up-to-the-minute decor. All the finishes and colors that you find in current decor magazines. I don't want to leave! We checked in and brought our luggage to our room with a luggage cart. After unloading the cart, we took a few minutes to change our clothes. When we left our room not more than 5 minutes later, our luggage cart had been retrieved by the front desk. That's a level of service I didn't expect! Kudos to the staff and management!
