I remember when the fairgrounds was at Springlake Park off the service road. Schools gave free passes every year.
It was also in the fall. The parade was always a cool event.
Also the cupola from the old Cotton Belt Railway Hospital was near the front entry for years.

Good the lines sucked the parking was not that bad and leaving late at night was not bad either. They had plenty of vendors and lots of games to play but they were very expensive between 5 -10 dollars per game. That sucked but the Derby races were awesome.

Place is a dump!!! Stalls are old and broken down. Several held together with bailing wire. Several Long screws sticking out inside of stalls. When I arrived there was still poop and old molded hay in stall. Huge potholes everywhere. When it rains the entire place is a muddy sloppy mess. They continue to take your money but put nothing back into it. Water and electric is hit or miss . Water at stalls wouldn't work had to haul water. The only thing I can say good is the guys working tried to help as much as possible.

How is it okay during the rodeo to rope and tie up a baby calf then it gets dragged by it's neck being choked. I left immediately. This should be illegal if it isn't necessary for ranch work. If you enjoy watching a calf be terrified and gasp to breath something is wrong with you.

"VENDORS BEWARE"
They don't respond to emails or voicemails.
Lisa (Barr) Garner is the worst. They finally said they had an iopening after 3 months of chasing them for a spot. When I told them I would take it they never returned my calls or emails. Horilble way to conduct businesss. Now after reading the reviews here I am so glad I didn't book this fair..

Welcome To The Beautiful, Relaxing Park At Four States Fair Grounds. An Awesome Place To Bring The Kids, Have Family Gatherings, Picnic's, Fish, And Let The Children Have Some Fun. The Walking Trail Around The Park Is So Beautiful. I Seen 3 Butterflies, People Fishing, The Duck's Were Resting At This Point. Belly's Full As They Had Been Fed By Families and Children. An Amazing, Clean Place For The Family. Facilities On Site, Clean.

They need to change the fairs rules to kids and adults allowed only no teenagers allowed because the teenagers ruin fun for everyone
