keep in mind this place is only about 30/night. discounts on longer stays. we were there for about 2 months. they made several improvements to the place since we were there like new top asphalt, remodeling rooms, etc. our room was old, smelled funky, floorboards soft and sinking, floors and walls stained, had a broken dresser, crack in the window, porch lights come on about 7pm and all flicker, the blinds don't fully cover the windows, water came and went (im assuming they were making repairs and replacing units, still not fun when trying to shower at night). lots of homeless roam nearby, only had a single issue over the lots of time we spent there. maintenance is good, he is a nice guy, desk workers were nice too, sometimes we had miscommunication, but everything is written policy there. laundry machines were out when we went, no pool. lots of reviews complain of the cash deposit, yes you get it back if the room isn't destroyed when you check out. location is great, less than a minute from state line, the place looked abandoned when we first checked in, but again, they are improving the property. would not recommend to single women, but if you can handle yourself, go ahead. if i am again in need of a shower and bed in the area, this is near top of the list.

Manager is a thief and extremely rude. He charged us as a "no show guest" after we deemed the property unsafe. Absolutely do not stay here. The property was very unsafe. The manager demanded a cash deposit at check in which was not listed when I booked room and paid my money which was $157.85 and as I was leaving they said they were not going to give me a room because it was not up to standard for my babies to sleep in I tried checking in after I did reservation night before they were yelling at me he hung up the phone in my face and the lady has a smart mouth like the guy does, I never received anything not a room, room number, hadn't seen the room and was very disrespectful in front of my children and said there was no room available because either way I could not get the room I paid for and I can't get my money back so I had to borrow money so my small children won't cry because we keep losing everything we worked hard for including our home and they took my only money to feed my babies with and refuse to cancel the room and refund my money back worst place ever to consider especially when booking online or in person.

You get what you pay for, the room was cheap, so if you’re just needing a shower and bed, this hotel is perfect for you. It would’ve been nice if there was a chair in the room and maybe a table. Also, the lighting was very poor.
The one thing that really sucked was they required a $50 CASH deposit and refused to give me a receipt for the deposit I paid them. I’m not sure why they just couldn’t do a deposit off my credit card.

This is where they film slasher movies. We didn't have a choice but you do! Keep driving please for the love of God do yourself a favor and do not stay here. I thought people were exaggerating but the reviews were generous. Bugs come here to die but only after they have feasted on your flesh. For goodness sake the 'fresh' towel is dirty. This place really should be shut down. The pictures on the website are misleading. The comforters look like they were bought in the 70s and have never been washed. I tried to take a picture of whatever was above the door.

Manager is a thief and extremely rude. He charged us as a "no show guest" after we deemed the property unsafe. Absolutely do not stay here. The property was very unsafe. The manager demanded a cash deposit at check in and as I was leaving to get it I saw all this broken stuff everywhere. I went to the property to check into a room and the windows were broken on one of the buildings. Doors were missing. Wires hanging everywhere. A whole building was gutted. Concrete was breaking off in large chunks from upper decks indicating compromised structural integrity. What if it falls and hits someone. Yes it was coming apart that much. Steel rebar from the upper compromised deck was very visible from below the upper flight deck. The stairs and safety railing were damaged severely by rust. The property was very overgrown. There were metal parts all over the parking lot, piles of broken boards everywhere, plywood covering broken windows. The second building was entirely unlivable and open to transient traffic. The manager was controlling and demanding on arrival. He became irritated and demanded I move my car. I told him there was no one outside anywhere. Literally two guests were staying at entire site of 100 rooms. It was run down and there was caution tape across the lobby preventing traffic to the laundry machines. The phone by the front door was smashed and all the buttons were missing. He didn't bother to get rid of that or the trash on site. The manager was just standing around while the property was in terrible condition. There were broken down cars being worked on there. There were two extremely large dumpsters on the property. In looking at one of the reviews, there were drugs found recently in one of ac units. Apparently someone spilled illegal or prescription pills into an ac unit in a room. I saw the video on Google. There was also paint spilled all over the property grounds. The place was in such poor condition that basic maintenance was not being done at all. The office was hot, dark, and humid. Pet policy on the apps said pets were allowed. On arrival they do not allow cats per a sharpie written policy taped to the lobby wall along with a dozen or so other sets of disclosures and policies. Now keep in mind I traveled five hours to get here. To find it like this was a gross misrepresentation of what was advertised. When I contacted booking, the property reported my reservation as a "no show" despite showing up and handing the manager my ID. Further, he demanded I get my children out of the car so he could verify they were children before considering allowing us to check in. He stole $750 dollars from me. So if you arrive and find the mold and unsafe conditions, make sure you contact the health department as I will be doing. Let your booking company know and take pictures and video. They do not reply to questions online. This is foreign owned and the operator is hostile to American travelers. He is dishonest and shady.

This place has its pros and cons. Compared to their previous rooms, they look a lot better. The room had all you needed, privacy was given, no bugs, and location was a bonus. My few issues were the environment. It looked sketchy outside, but nothing major. I just wouldn't sit outside at night alone. Next was our bed, it was kinda hard and the sheets were not that clean, so we went and bought our own set so nothing to get upset about. Lastly my MAIN concern was our bathroom, it looked as if the room up stairs had a leak causing our ceiling to cave in with mold, but we weren't planning on taking a shower there so we didn't stress ourselves at all. All in all, this hotel is the most basic place I've ever seen, but I've seen better, and I've seen worse. If you just need a roof and a bed, this is the place.

The bathroom was not cleaned well at all, there was no conditioner, and there were no body towels at all. So if you wanted to shower, you couldn't really do it. There was no coffee maker. There was no telephone in the room.

However, the air conditioner was working and the bed was soft.

If all you need is a bed and a roof, then it's a decent place. If you want anything at all that could be considered an amenity, then pay the extra $25 to go to one of the nicer places down the street or around the loop.

The towels and sheets were stained really bad. I had to ask for toilet paper. The TV was a hassle and only had 6 channels. The toilet water ran the whole time and it moved when I sat on it. No soap or anything in the room. It was a really bad experience.
