This is the largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the USA and has been granted an exemption from EPA mercury and air toxicity standards. Mercury is a neurotoxin that can cause developmental problems in infants and children.

I appreciate cheap electricity to heat and cool my house! CO2 is not what congress had in mind when they passed the Clean Air Act. Spending trillions of dollars that we don't have(see national debt of $36 trillion) to somehow "stop climate change" makes no sense. We should spend are money wisely for mitigation of any possible bad effects from rising CO2. Closing working power infrastructure while China builds new coal plants will bankrupt our country and give them a huge economic advantage that will lead to the destruction of freedom and democracy in the world! That's my 2 cents worth!

Far and away the highest polluting power generating facility. It is an awful testament to greed that it is still in operation and hasnt upgraded or shut down completely in lieu of a better option. Thanks Alabama

KEEP POLLUTING AND MAKING US DEAL WITH THE LONG TERM COSTS. #1 Green house emitter in the USA! Congrats guys! This plant emits equivalent to 4 million cars every year. Laughable that this is still happening in 2021 gong in to 2022.

It really amazes me that people get on here to announce the plant's Co2 emissions without no proof at all whatsoever and are allowed the do so for everyone else in some way believe their agenda
