Quoting Process:
I worked with Pat Dorr on the price quoting process. Pat was wonderful again to work with for the 3rd year of getting my quote for our field trip. The quoting process was easy and I received the quote back quickly. I even had to ask for different price quotes for different arrival times back to the school. Any time I emailed Pat, I always received a return email back in a reasonable timeframe. I received both the price quote back quickly. Once I agreed on the quote, the invoice was sent to me to sign. Due to another company paying for our field trip. Pat has made the payment of the invoice process easy and straightforward. We have completed this process two other times in the past.

The Day of the Field Trip:
This is my second time having Isaac, the lead driver, as my bus driver for a field trip. This was the first year I met Miguel, who was the other bus driver. Both drivers arrived early at the school. I saw they pulled up at the designated parking area at 7:00 am. They parked right where I needed them to park. They greeted me as they came off the bus and were ready to help me with whatever I needed help with. Our kids were able to board the bus and wait until we needed to leave. Our drive up to Santa Clara was smooth. We watched a movie on the way up that I brought with me. We made it to the Levi Stadium safely. When we finished our trip, the buses were there waiting for us. On our way back, the ride was smooth. Although, we hit some traffic. We made it back safely to the school. Our bus drivers were wonderful just like the previous years when we rented your buses for field trips. Thank you so much. I rate your company 5/5. Thanks again to your amazing bus drivers.

Discovery Charters is a local company serving the 831, Monterey County, and beyond. We have been booking our Bus Charter Trips with Pat and team for a few years now. Their bus service is excellent and drivers assigned especially Isaac Lopez, he's been our most requested due to his driving skills and ability to cope on our senior trips and always helping our members get on and off the bus. Their equipment onboard is state of the art and the bathroom is clean and well maintained. From arrival to drop off, their staff take us precisely on our itinerary and they even plan ahead for potential road work or detours anticipated . We are definitely going to use Discovery for all our group travel needs and they are always accommodating us with our needs. This year we have had a great start in May visiting East Bay areas and back to 831 and we had a fantastic trip and was definitely memorable.

FANTASTIC! We recently had a 3-day corporate event with several layers of transportation needed. The team at Discovery Charters was excellent! The drivers were professional and very helpful to our group, and they made sure everyone was well taken care of. They were right on time for every leg of the event. Rich and the team saved the day! I can not say enough wonderful things about this company.
First...I lined up this trip for a group of 41 travelers from our school to go to SFO and back for our trip to France a few weeks ago. Setting up the arrangements was very easy and well managed by Pat. We were picked up (and the bus was early) at 3:00 am on a Saturday. The bus was clean and our driver was friendly and we arrived at the airport ahead of schedule.

When our flight home was cancelled and our bus arrangements had to be changed at the last minute the team really pulled it through for us. Rich called me in France and lined up another company to pick us up since we had to change the date of our return. I was so relieved that my students would be returned home to their parents and that I didn't have to arrange carpools home.

This company truly saved our trip. I will only arrange group travel through Discovery.

Discovery Charters is the bus company I've had the pleasure of being a part of in my tenure coaching at CSU Monterey Bay! The buses are well maintained and clean! I have had many drivers while here all have been very professional. Three have been simply wonderful: Stewart, Edward, and Isaac. This trio is simply my Bee Gees, Rush, Triumph (all great pop and rock trios!). I ask for them each time we travel...Having two seasons a year, I am privileged to be with Discovery more than most, and it's awesome!
