We chartered a half day to test some scientific equipment offshore. The whole crew was very kind, and the operation was smooth. The captain did an awesome job consistently keeping the boat where we needed it to run our tests, and they were communicative and flexible with the evolving demands of our situation.

The boat was also clean and comfy, had proper tools, and had lots of snacks. In addition to a successful equipment test, we had a really pleasant day on the water hanging out with the crew.

Meridian is a 50 foot luxury yacht with 6 people max on a trip, so you really get the Royal Treatment. The cost of the private charter for our group was a fantastic value, the perfect social distancing adventure. It will be impossible to go out on the crowded public cruises after experiencing the personalized yacht life Secret Harbor offers, even when things “get back to normal”. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience aboard the Meridien during a trip out on the bay last weekend and we were lucky enough to have the entire boat ourselves! Erica, the onboard naturalist, was awesome! Super knowledgeable and was eager to educate us. We saw some humpback whales feeding, which was exciting. And then a tip came in that there was a blue whale spotted in the area and did we want to try and go find it. We were like, sure, blue whale, let's go. It wasn't until Erica explained that sightings were extremely rare and that blue whales are literally the LARGEST ANIMAL ON THE PLANET that we realized we were in for something special! Josh, the boat captain, quickly find this giant creature and maneuvered to get the best views. It was truly a once in a lifetime type of experience.

I can't recommend Secret Harbor enough. The boat is amazing and Karen, the owner, very nice and accommodating. She even left some parting goodies for us

If you have a small group I would definitely choose this personal experience over those large touristy whale watching boats with 50-60 onboard. It was a great day on Monterey Bay!

This was an amazing experience! If you were looking for a luxurious way to spend a special occasion, this is the ticket. Beautiful vessel, and knowledgeable crew. Karen, who owns the business, is extremely accommodating, welcoming, and a pleasure to work with.
