Best meal we had during a week on SPI and RGV... Disregard the outer appearance of the place. Step in and meet some friendly people, and get some great food. "Those tacos were so good I ate all of them" (my six year old). His first tacos. So you get 5 al pastor tacos with all the fixings, pineapple, sauteed onions, radishes, a couple sauces... All on the side, for eight dollars. Beer is ice cold. I believe the owner's son is in the Marines. While we were there primarily couples were coming in and getting food on and off.

Like others it looks almost closed from the outside but inside it’s a cozy bar. Just go. The food was amazing. So good! Ordered the tacos Al pastor and the bistec tacos. The best I’ve had in years and years!

We were looking for good tacos here in south padre island and ran across this place on maps. Initially we couldn't find it, it ends up that it's labeled something else. It's a blue building. Park and go inside, you are at the right place. We ordered some tacos and we were not disappointed! The food was great. Go try it!

Definitely a little creepy on the outside, but super nice staff, the service was really good and the food came out fast.

The food was good but not the best tacos I have ever had. But they re super great for the price. One of the cheapest meals you will have on SPI

Like others have said the outside looked a little questionable, but once you go inside it doesn't matter. The food was great and the price was not bad at all! My three picky eaters even asked for seconds!

Wow!!! Just Wow!! Place looked sketch!! But I’m am amazingly impressed with the flavor of this place… completely judged it based on the outside dark look, and it says bubbas bar and grill. But once we arrived, the waiter was amazingly friendly… and attended us with a very amazing Hispanic hospitality!! This is a family owned business!! It is a bar, but it is a place that has amazing …. And I mean amazing tacos!! I ate at many places in south padre, my favorite place by far from many high end and many places was this dark taco place… please try the gringas!! (With pastor!!) amazing! If I could give more stars I would… this place is extremely undervalued… overlooked. 5 stars for an authentic Mexican experience. Gracias a nuestro mesero, estuvo increíble esta experiencia. We had a DJ (female) that was amazing as well! Thank you for your attention.

Just like the other reviews, we were uncertain just by looking at the place, but the food was AMAZING. I ordered the Birria tacos and my wife had El Pastor. The food and service was top notch. My wife enjoyed the classic country music on the speakers. Give it a shot!

Great tacos, Mexican style! So an order comes with 6 mini tacos. Tried the Gringas and were amazing too, pastor and steak tacos were great too. Don’t be afraid of how the restaurant looks from outside, very good service, clean and very fresh food. Definitely will come back! They also offer chips as a courtesy. Their green and red sauces were flavorful and spicy. Me and my family were looking for a great place for Mexican food here in South Padre and we found it!
