Location, staff, facilities cleanliness, and overall ambiance of the great outdoors! I made sure to capitalize on each and every activity at this location and found myself absolutely entertained and happy with it all. From grilling racks of ribs on my balcony to playing in the arcade or taking a dip in the pool it was nonstop fun! The rooms have everything covered, you could literally show up in a swimsuit and stay there for a week with no problems. There is a Stater Bros grocery store a 5 minute walk away for anything you forgot and in room laundry. The staff are personable, fun, but also keep a tight ship which really makes things so great there. 10/10 will stay again, and I have stayed at resorts across the country and on both coasts of the country. This is the top tier rating from me. Great job Wyndham! P.S. who the heck is your landscaper? Fantastic!

We’re currently at this property, and we’ve had a great experience. We came here to get out of the heat and it’s been lovely. We have been hiking and eating to our hearts content.

I have to give a huge shout out to the staff here! They’re all so friendly and always wave or say hello. A special shout out to Anthony at the front desk. He’s incredibly personable and kind. Thanks for making a great first impression!

Pretty laid back place, perfect for family.

There’s tennis court, basketball court, gym, gaming room and hall. You can also rent movies at the front desk.

Lots of things to do, hiking trails around the lake, kayaking and boat rentals, bike rentals, etc. you can get more info at front desk.

There’s a few stores close by to buy groceries. Park in front of your building.
We booked 1 bedroom, there’s a small patio with your own BBQ!

Either we stayed during a very slow season, or the nearby fires scared off most of the guests: The resort was nearly deserted, so it was very quiet. Our unit was clean and comfortable and in easy walking distance to two shopping centers. We were grateful that there was no push to attend a sales presentation, unlike most of the Wyndham properties where we have stayed.

Downgraded our 1 bedroom apartment for two adults and two kids to a 1-bed 2-person studio 18 hours before we were supposed to arrive, via the chat on booking.com and then did not respond again. Caused total chaos and a sleepless night. Terrible. You cannot do that. Luckily we booked somewhere else last minute in big bear that turned out to be nice.

Overall very pleasant stay. We stayed in a one bedroom unit. Well stocked kitchen. Nice starter kit,salt, pepper and spices. Front staff were very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be that the walls are a little thin. You can hear your neighbors. FIrst morning the upstairs couple got up at 5 am. Lots of banging and rolled their cooler down the stairs. Loud thump step by step. Can't really put that on the resort, just inconsiderate people. Very confortable stay. Pretty much in the center of any activities in Bear Lake. The outside grill area was very dusty. The windows were also somewhat dirty on the outside. Other wise a good stay.

Location and amenities (recreation center, pool, saunas, playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, movies, etc) are worth the stay! However, BEWARE: No A/C in the rooms and no elevators!

So be very mindful when coming (do not recommend during the hot season) and if you do come during the hot season, plan on not hanging out in the rooms, it’s too hot!

Finally, the property itself was very nice, however the stairs didn’t sound safe. Every time I walked down or up the stairs the creaking and shifting below me felt unstable and made me and our party nervous.

The location is perfect. Close to everything and the lake. The venue is so sufficient that we rarely left the location. It already have its own swimming pool, arcade, tennis court, basketball court, and playground. Each unit also has its own grill, which made the unit very home-like. We will definitely stay here again.
