With limited options for snow play we would consider it again. We were fortune to be on a lighter day before the holiday crowd.

The moving carpet broke down a few times and ultimately the crew closed the hill a little early (3:52p), which was close but we hoped to eek out every last bit since we arrived later afternoon.

Our experience at Big Bear Snow Play was a mixed bag. At $40 per person, the excitement for the kids was undeniable, yet it came with significant downsides. But as parents, you have to do it for your kids to see them smile and live a good childhood, The lines were exasperatingly long, stretching to about 2 hours, despite managing to slide down the slopes 4-5 times within 1.5 hours. While the children had a blast, it felt quite demanding. The moving walkway, designed for convenience, was intermittently non-operational, adding to the hassle.

The process of signing waivers and purchasing tickets was convoluted, involving multiple lengthy lines. Arriving early seemed to be the norm, as the place quickly filled up by 11 am, resulting in parking woes and extensive queues. Surprisingly, the crowd thinned out around 2-3 pm, potentially making it a more favorable time for a less chaotic experience.

In essence, the thrill of snow tubing was overshadowed by the overwhelming crowds and operational issues, making the overall adventure quite laborious, despite the kids' enjoyment. Consider visiting during off-peak hours to potentially alleviate some of the hassles and maximize the fun.

It's a great place for the summer slide; we had 13, 8, and 7-year-old kids, and they all enjoyed it very well. We thought they would allow 2-year-old kids with parents, but they didn't, which was a little disappointing. Secondly, the pricing is a little higher: a single ride costs $10, 3 rides cost $25, and a 2-hour play session costs $45. If you think your kids would love it, get the 2-hour play option, because they don't offer upgrades. The place is well-maintained, the toilets were clean and neat on every floor, and there are plenty of parking spaces. There's also a go-kart track for kids above 13 and a rope course for kids above 42 inches. Be sure to bring cash for every ride, as there's a 3% charge for credit card use. Overall, the service was nice, and I would recommend this place.

Spectacular views of Big Bear Lake, while taking our 14 min ride on the lift. Worth the $35 dls per person. Kids 12 and under free with paid adult.
While your up 8200 ft you can enjoy your lunch at the restaurant up there. Enjoy!

This place was fun, but it is extremely overpriced. The go karts move pretty quick. The ropes course was fun but you only get 20 minutes on it. We didn't eat any food here so I can't say how the food is, but looking at what other people were eating, it is typical frozen snack bar food. I may come back, but if I do it would be to sled in the snow. The kids had fun so I guess it was worth the money.

Definitely worth the price. $25 for children 32 inches to 42 inches any other inches over 42 is $40. All you can slide from 10 am to 4 pm. You can leave and come back. I saw a comment about CASH ONLY!? that’s questionable I was there Jan 29 and I was able to pay with my DISCOVER. Last year I tried to be cheap and slide on some random spot my daughter got hurt so never again. This place is pretty safe. I do recommend it.

Get there early, there is a lot of people that want to enjoy the snow, and while this place is great, there seems to be no limit to how many people they let in. The photo I took was taken around 1:45pm, the line is still super long. Good luck finding a tube if you show up after 12pm.
Still, we had a great time, did a lot of tubing early so we didn't mind to lines.

We spent more than an hour in Line just to sign a waiver! The worker Natasha was rude. We did all the waiver and she purposely skipped to tie the strip on one of my sons and my elderly mother. After we spent more time to buy our tickets and ready to get in. We were told that my son and my mother needed to circle back and get the strip. Then the same lady Natasha saw us and demanded us to redo the waiver again. And the manager Cynthia was also mean and unprofessional. They could have given us the strip and let us go. They made us waited for almost 2 hours. When we tried to get in, and then we waited for our turn to slide down hill once every 20 minutes or 30 minutes...!!! So you are paying $45 for about 4 or 5 turns ?.
What a nightmare! I don’t recommend it at all. The only thing that was actually close to okay was the tubing part,and that’s why we left one star!
