We had an awesome stay, and this house was one of the best we have stayed at in Big Bear. Close proximity to the lake and other fun activities. The rental company communicated well without being intrusive, and coordinated a seamless check in for us. This is a fantastic home that it professionally managed and we look forward to staying here again.

The house is beautiful and has absolutely everything a person could ask for. We enjoyed waking up everyday and having coffee on the deck. SoCal Vacations does a great job at keeping the property top notch. The home was very clean and check in was pretty easy. My favorite part of the house is the downstairs area. We had 6 kids ranging from 6-15 staying with us and they always had something to do. The space is separate from the upper floor and we all had space to relax.

The only thing I did not like was going to the business office to check in and then going to the property. Thats the first time Ive had to do that.

We have been in contact with SoCal vacations with absolutely no resolution. When we arrived, although it was disclosed that construction was going on next-door, it was not disclosed that there was no safety fence, dividing the construction site and the property we rented. (Photos and documentation have been made throughout our trip) When we brought this to the management company’s attention, they came back with the fact that construction was disclosed. I explained that it is a safety issue; number one that we were exposed to construction site elements, such as tools, rebar, nails, but also our rental is completely exposed to the lake without a safety barrier due to the ongoing current construction next door. We explained that we had a 2 1/2-year-old toddler and this was not safe for her, nor our dogs which we paid $250 in fees for. Our dogs had to stay on leashes the entire time we were here and could not roam the backyard as we thought since this was a “pet friendly” property. Finally,

we went to use the jacuzzi on night two. When we opened it, we noticed the temperature was set at 105°. We also own a spa and know that anything above 104° is completely unsafe and will cause heat stroke. We tried to adjust it and it would not adjust.

We all looked forward to our trip and had reservations for kayaks and boats. Furthermore, we drove from San Diego county and it took us three hours to get up here. I mentioned these facts because it was too late to switch anything, for example, get another place or even drive home. We wanted to be on the lake, but I am highly disappointed at how so cal vacations didn’t even try to put a temporary fence between the construction site and our rented property. Instead, after many text messages back-and-forth, they told us to “contact Airbnb.” Absolutely no remediation of the challenges we were about to face over the next three days.

My husband is a regional safety manager, and I believe it having a temporary barrier around a construction site is only a safety liability, but is also against OSHA regulations. We will be checking into the compliance on Monday when they are open.

Bottom line? We should have been given an opportunity before the June 13 deadline of our final payment whether to cancel or not due to the safety issues or the opportunity to settle on a fair price when we arrived. We were not!

This is our second stay at SoCal Vacations in Big Bear. We love the fact that it is so centrally located in the Village, near restaurants, shopping and even just a stroll away from the lake.

Both check-in and check-out are easy with no hassle, and the hosts are ready to suggest plenty of the mountain's highlights and fun things to do. Since the units have a full kitchen, extended stays are doable, and the decor and the gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub are nice additions!

We will definitely be going back!

We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb for Thanksgiving! The house was absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that added a special touch to our holiday celebration. Every room felt thoughtfully designed and well-equipped, making it perfect for our family gathering.

The check-in process was seamless, which made arriving stress-free—a huge plus during the busy holiday season. The amenities in the house were top-notch, and it was such a relief not having to worry about heavy cleaning before leaving; simply taking out the trash made checkout a breeze.

This property truly felt like a home away from home, and the scenic surroundings created lasting memories for our family. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, hassle-free holiday getaway!

This is our second time staying at Eagle Landing and it was a true pleasure! We stayed with the max amount of guests and the size of the home allowed us great quality time with one another, but still separate space for our individual families. SoCal vacations is extremely accommodating, quick to respond to inquiries and welcoming to guests. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and in close proximity to stores and the town. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be returning for future trips! Thanks so much for a wonderful trip.

We had a great time, this place was equipped for families, and the customer service was amazing. We had a hard time turning on the jacuzzi and they sent someone out right away! We will definitely stay here again.

Great 1 bedroom apartment right in the village at Big Bear Lake. It came with all the supplies like towels, toilet papers/paper towels, trash bags, etc. They even gave me new supplies once I used all of the ones they supplied at first for free. I really liked the hot tub with jets in the living room. Also the adjustable lamp, ac unit, heater, and that HUGE bed. The staff I dealt with was very kind and helpful! They answered texts pretty quickly and respond always trying to help. I appreciate that! And wish the best for this business!
