We just loved this cozy cabin. Located in a quiet neighborhood, yet so close to downtown, it was perfect for us. The heater kept the cabin nice and warm during a snow storm. The decor is perfect for a mountain cabin. It's just lovely. We will definitely rent this perfect little gem again.

Loved our cabin, but especially loved the service from Big Bear Vacations. I’ve stayed with them two prior times, and everything is so easy - check in, communication through their concierge service, the cleanliness and upkeep of the property.

Example: When we checked in, the smoke detector battery was chirping on the very high second floor ceiling so I wrote the concierge, and within 20 mins, someone was there to change out all the smoke detector battery for us. Another example: It snowed while we were there, and I asked which highways were safe to drive, they pointed me to CalTrans and shared the latest weather info.

There are so many property rental options in Big Bear, but they are the best.

Wonderful vac! Great view! Our family (five adults and three kids) enjoyed the spaciousness of this unit. We ate many meals at the large table on the deck overlooking the inlet. Several family games in the unit and a pool table and hot tub. Location was convenient to the marina. Also a very short drive to several fun activities. It was also great watching all of the wildlife from the deck and gorgeous sunrise over the water. We had a couple minor concerns, and they were quickly handled. The management team was quick to reply to any questions. Look forward to staying again.

From the moment we arrived at Shore Acres Lodge, we knew we were in for a treat. We were welcomed by Delaney who was helpful and friendly and pointed us in the direction of our lodging.

The cabin itself was cute and cozy, comfortably furnished, and equipped with all the amenities we needed.

The lake, a stone's throw from our cabin, had a dock where the kids could fish and launch their kayak.

The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The water was clear and invigorating, providing us with a much-needed respite from the summer heat.

Besides catching up with friends, another highlight of our stay had to be watching the meteor shower. With minimal light pollution, the sky was a canvas of stars, each one shining brighter than the last.

The management at Big Bear Vacations deserves a special shout-out for their attention to detail and hospitality. Christina Lindsey ensured our stay was organized and comfortable and Rhiannon Voest was more than happy to share tips on making the most of our weekend.

In summary, our weekend at Shore Acres Lodge was not just a getaway; it rejuvenated our spirits and gave us family memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Whether you're a nature lover, an adventure seeker, or just in need of some peace and quiet, Shore Acres Lodge is a perfect getaway. We left with heavy hearts and the kids begging for an extra day but promised ourselves to return soon.

I highly recommend BIG BEAR VACATIONS, we had the best time and the customer service and dedication to making sure everything was done if there was an issue very quickly.. We stayed at The Eagles Nest for our Honeymoon and it was Amazing! We will definitely be back to visit again soon! There are many things to do in Big Bear, and so much to see! Great Vacation to a home away from Home⭐️ Thanks for such amazing hospitality!!!

I had such a blast here! I've never experienced staying in a cabin and this was a dream. Kyle was so helpful in making sure this stay was memorable and was personable. I had many questions and I wanted to be prepared and he was excellent on communicating with me so ensure i was taken care of. The renovated room was fantastic. The heater cranked. And all the great kitchen gear and I was able to cook there and really enjoy it. I'll definitely stay here again and will mention it to my friends and family- so they can have a memorable experience like I had. Thanks again Kyle!

We really enjoyed the location of this vacation home. It was an easy walk to the village for shopping and meals. The bathrooms and kitchen are in good condition and the living room is very comfortable. The extra blankets available were pretty worn but clean and the master bedroom needs new window coverings. The deck could be made to be more inviting and comfortable. Also it would be helpful to have instructions on how to use the 3 TV remote controls. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here gain.

My family and I stayed right on the water for 3 days in Lakeshore 012. The views from the deck were absolutely stunning. The house was pretty clean. It’s an older home so understandably some things weren’t 100% perfect. We had no problems. Beds were clean, kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was stocked with all the dishes, pans, cutlery we would need! Appliances all worked fines The jet tub and hot tub were the best! The bbq grill was a must for us. We were able to grill all of our favorites while enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We watched many people catch fish right on the dock that was in front of the home even! My kids loved it too. They had plenty of room to play and explore. We all really enjoyed the pool table, so much fun!!? ?

Stefani and Jocelyn ensured we were able to check in with no issues on arrival day, checked in on us after the first night and also made sure we were able to check out smoothly. They were very communicative during the whole process and made sure that if we needed anything we could let them know immediately.

It was our first time in Big Bear and we enjoyed our stay at the property and our 3 day weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend big bear vacations to friends or family and already have had a few people ask where we stayed!

Can’t wait to book our next vacation to Big Bear and will book with Stefani again for sure!
