Not a lot to see from the ground. It was very windy couldn't get any drone shots. The images are fenced in for preservation. A good thing! Satellite photos show were people have driven through them. Still a good stop. Walk out to the locations on a short path to each area.

This is a nice archeological place. I had to stop on our way back from Arizona. Please be respectful of places like this. Our ancestors left some knowledge. We just have to figure out what they were communicating to future generations. This is part of our legacy.

These intaglios were super impressive to see. If you have a drone I highly recommend you use it to get the full sense of scale.

Pretty interesting, not very obvious from the highway, free, not a lot of information. Also super hot in the summer.
I wouldn't go out there just to see them, but if you can work it into a trip (route 95 or even Interstate 10), I would say it's worth it. Even my kids kinda thought it was interesting after crying when I started up the dirt road.
When GPS told us "you have reached your destination" and I turned onto the rocky dirt road, my children were utterly confused, "this is our destination?" It was hot and the dirt road wouldn't be easy in a car, but doable if you took it slow. In my stock SUV it was not a problem. It's probably only 1/2 mile up the trail to the gates (which are just double hitches in the road's guard fence). From those gates it's only a couple hundred feet to the fenced in figures.
We saw three fenced off figures accessed from 2 different gates/parking areas.
No one else was there in the 20-30 minutes we were there at 4 in the afternoon on a weekday in June.

Is worth every bit of time and effort to see them…visited the three that are fenced in but there are more further along. The fenced in ones are easily accessed even with a regular two-wheel drive, the furtherest…it would be better with four. Beautiful, haunting, mysterious and… thought provoking.

Went out to the Intaglios and it was such a beautiful experience. The kids and I enjoyed the short walk to the 3 Intaglios that are fenced in. If you have a drone you should definitely bring it to get some nice shots. Also take the time to enjoy the scenery found some beautiful rocks. This is an off the beaten path site and the turn off can be a little hard to find. Make sure to bring water during warm months. Highly recommend during this pandemic 🙂

This place was so cool I got to drive and walk up the mountain as I walked up the wind grew stronger I felt the spirits we're letting me know they were there powerful moments beautiful view the fact that you get to walk up and see them plz drive there and see for your self great experience

This is truly a unique experience and opportunity. It is a place that connects my wife with her historical culture in that she is from Guadalajara, Mexico, and her family is a mix of Native American, Spanards, and French as most "Mexican" Heritage are. I myself have a very small percentage of Native American as well, but even if you have none, this place is a connection to the people that were here thousands of years ago!
I felt a connection to history and wondered what those who built these fantastic art works were thinking when they did so. Did they think it would still be there? Sadly, some have been damaged by offroad vehicles before fencing could be installed. But even today they are inspiring.
