I was very upset after hearing how my 19 year old son was treated. I had reserved a room for my son and his friend. They drove from Arizona to Boron CA to visit a friend. When my son arrived at the motel, the woman at the desk refused to let them check in. It was 9pm and they tired after driving 7 hours but she just turned them away. Boron is a very small town and only has 2 motels. They ended up having to get a hotel room in a different town miles away. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Stumbled across this motel on our way back to vegas, the staff are very pleasant and friendly and very knowledgeable about all the local history (it's a very old mining town)
Our room was perfect for us, nice big comfy bed,fridge,microwave, coffee maker,TV and hair dryer oh and good working air con.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend the place

Motel is older, but the heater works! The room was pretty, and the bathroom mirror was to die for. (Vintage from the 40s-50s!) it’s as all motor inn, but they have coffee in the room, shampoo, soap, shower and a working blow dryer too! ||If we are ever in Boron again, we will stay here.

I just got back from a 5 day multiple state road trip with my husband and two small children, and this motel was the perfect place to stay on our last night!

The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, the fridge, microwave and hair dryer worked. The television had no service but it may have been something simple to fix had we stayed long enough to want to use the TV, but we weren't there long enough for my kids to want to use it.
The bathroom was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic!
The staff were polite and called when we were late in checking in (the I-15 traffic was atrocious).

Great little place to sleep. Clean. No bugs. Comfy bed. AC. You're in the freaking desert in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't smell like curry. The staff are easy to understand. It's better than your car. Stay here.

Stars reflect presentation, room was clean...well as clean as you could get very old carpet/linen and towels. Friendly service and smoke-free was actually smoke free room. They need a better handyman! Had the amenities coffee, microwave, fridge, soaps and the decor was well presented just the bathroom was a major disappointment.

My experience started out well the lady at the front desk was very nice. Checked into the room it was dated but seemed clean. I was traveling from Arizona to California so I just needed a place to lay my head for the night. Although upon waking up in the morning I was literally covered with what I thought was a rash from my arms to my shoulders to my back. When I checked out I had let the lady know and showed her the rash on my arms and shoulders. She said I don't know maybe you came in with that which I thought was fairly offensive. I originally thought that it was possibly an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent they use for the sheets. But it was so bad that I ended up driving to a hospital to be checked out and found out that it was bed bug bites. So I would definitely caution anybody who is thinking about staying at this hotel.

The Boron Motel is a very basic, mom and pop operation in a very small town. The rooms are clean. There is a coffee maker, microwave oven, and refrigerator. The parking lot is clean and the grounds are also clean and well maintained.
