As soon as we arrive on the property, we start relaxing. The grounds are full of art & ambience. The pool is clean & inviting & the hot tub hit the spot. The room was spotless & full of light. We enjoyed our sitting area out our door in the evening & mornings, graced by the mountains & beautiful trees. Everyone working there goes out of their way to make your stay more perfect. We'll be going back for our 4th stay!!! We learned to stay more than one night though!!!

This hotel offers a truly lovely experience. The property is not only beautiful, but also meticulously maintained. The staff are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. A standout feature was the cozy fire pits, perfect for relaxing evenings, and the inviting pool area provided a refreshing escape. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable getaway.

The owners are the nicest people and really went above and beyond to make my birthday weekend special. They extended the same hospitality to my dog, too. The room was very nice, the property grounds were gorgeous, and the pool and hot tub amenities were excellent. It’s located in a quiet part of town, but still walking distance to the shops and restaurants in the Village. We really had a relaxing time and wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you!!

We booked a room an hour before getting there, but I forgot to tell them that I had a broken leg. This beautiful Spanish missionary style inn is set terracing down a hill across from the beach. We quickly realized I was not gonna be able to walk the flights of stairs to get to my room. So they accommodated me with an even more beautiful king size room with a sunroom overlooking the beach. That was a lovely surprise.

I have loved this Lodge for decades. I have stayed there many times and it is always wonderful, charming, comfortable and restfully quiet. The owners take excellent care of the property and it shows. It is a slice of heaven with glorious views, pool and spa and a thoughtful inclusive breakfast spread with many choices.

My family has been going to Carmel Valley lodge since 1970. We love everything about it. It’s a beautiful place to relax and take a swim in the wonderful pool. Rooms are perfect and the hot tub is amazing. We go every year! |The restaurants are close and food is delicious.

Great location. |Clean rooms. |Fabulous hospitality. |My wife and I stayed for two weeks. Plenty of parks, restaurants and wine tasting within walking distance. Carmel by the sea and Pacific Grove are a short drive away. Many beaches to choose from as we went to several different ones.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Carmel Valley Lodge. The room was spacious and grounds are beautiful around the pool. The community park across the street is a plus for dog owners. The lodge is centrally located in the valley with easy access to restaurants and shopping.
