The grounds, the buildings, the beds, the breakfast, the pool, all well cared for a lovingly maintained. It's a bit remote and does not have all the latest in conveniences, but the caretakers are very thoughtful and helpful. We were there 2 nights for a wedding in Hopland and could not have been more pleased. Quiet and dark and night and restful and peaceful at all times. The pool was well cared for and bigger than you usually expect from a facility like this. Nice sitting area all around and outside the rooms with amazing views and sunsets. Breakfast was excellent, varied and more than you could possibly eat at a sitting. ||||If you like peaceful and remote, this is the place for you.||||Google Maps could not find it correctly, so use an actual map to find it.||||Not a bad price for this area. Not cheap though.||||It takes a while to get to/from US 101 from the hotel. Just take your time.

My family was visiting the area to participate in a local marathon. We rented two rooms at the Old Crocker Inn. We both loved our rooms. They were clean, quiet, and had everything we needed--including bath robes. The place is not fancy, but we were treated like royalty. Kathy provided an early breakfast for us on the morning of the marathon, gave us dinner recommendations, and basically took care of us from the time we arrived until we checked out. We all want to return next year and stay longer.

We stayed in the Golden Spike cottage. Very comfy. Beautiful grounds. Went for a little walk around the property and watched a few deer along the way. Some right on the path I was on. Gorgeous location up in the woods. Caterina, was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. We thought he was a gourmet chef but he's just been doing it a long time. The quiche was scrumptious and the homemade croissants melted in your mouth. Very peaceful and quiet. Take it slow on the road there, very winding.

Beautiful and quiet location in the country. It is fun to think about the great bit of history this place holds. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee was excellent. The home-made pastries were out of this world. We loved hanging by the pool in the morning sun. Very relaxing place...

Rooms are clean and functional, a little too vintage for my liking. Breakfast, even though predetermined based on allergies, was very good. They are very hospitable and accommodating. Location is a little too remote in attempting to access the majority of wineries, which was the purpose of our visit, but if quite is what you want it's the right location.

Enjoyed our stay at the Old Crocker Inn. Stayed here just before the fires started to the south. Hope they survived the fire as this B & B is hidden away in the north end of the Sonoma Valley. Our hosts took care of our every need and the accommodations were great. They also have a beautiful deck where you can enjoy the sunset and of course, a glass of wine or two. We look forward to another stay here.

The innkeepers are very attentive and respond to all requests. The inn is very quiet and the rooms are well appointed. The beds are very comfortable. Wildlife, especially deer, visit the grounds regularly. ||||The twisty roads reward you with a comfortable, quiet inn to spend a few days.||||The full breakfast is hearty and creative.||||We happened to have a slight billing issue during our stay and Linda worked hard to make sure that no issue persisted. I really appreciated her attention and commitment to make sure everything was fine.||||We would definitely return to the Old Crocker Inn in future visits.

If you are going to be in Sonoma Valley, you are going to have many places to choose from when it comes to lodging. If you are looking for a place that delivers a peaceful, relaxing and romantic atmosphere, Old Crocker Inn is the place. It is out of the way to say the least but well worth it when you get there. Built as a hunting lodge for the railroad tycoon, the charm of the old west is everywhere. Wildlife everywhere, fruit trees, gardens and picturesque views are the norm here. We stayed in the master bedroom of the main house. A canopy bed, fireplace and bear claw tub greeted us. Outstanding service from the caretaker made it even better.
