A delight for the whole family, including The Dog! During low-tide, the sea shells are plentiful and you might even be lucky enough to happen upon an intact sand dollar. Parking is extremely limited, so you will probably have your most favorable experiences well outside of tourist season.
For the ideal calm, quiet sea-side get away, one would be hard-pressed to expect much better than what is available here.

BEAUTIFUL and kinda secluded!!! Definitely a beach worth checking out. Stretch your legs and walk down the mile-long beach and find all sorts of stuff!!! BEAUTIFUL smooth beach, and sand dollars are a common find! VERY small parking lot, but worth a short walk if you have to park down a little.

If you love sand dollars this is the place to go to get lots of them. Especially in low tides. And its the only beach where dogs don't have to have leashes.

What a wonderful way to start a day. I suggest going when the ride is at its lowest. An amazing variety of sea life. Miles of beach waiting to be explored.

Beautiful beach north of Fort Bragg. Dog friendly and most of the people who visit it are nice.

Sneaker waves the day we were there. Still a great day to be in the beach and running away up to dry sand.?
