Came here with my girlfriend looking for hiking boots and and a guy there wearing cowboy boots(don't know his name ) was super knowledgeable and we both ended up with an awesome pair of boots and some wool socks and he even gave us some stickers for free. Super badass store and great service!

I love getting new gear at Pacific Outfitters. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I took three trips to the Trinity Alps this summer and got all my gear at an affordable price. They have great sales seasonally on everything from Snowboard gear, kayaks, running shoes and camping gear. They support our local community too! Spend those dollars locally and it comes back to you.

Very impressed with the customer service provided to me by staff and Manager. Seth and Hunter worked on installing new racks on my new car and due to my particular circumstance it took two visits. They were completely accommodating, professional and knowledgeable.I recommend them!

We went asking for some advice to help get my son a good local fishing experience. The staff member that attended us was very helpful and truly seemed interested in helping us have a successful outing. The store also carried many great products and brands. Wish we had more time to go back again.

I bought one of their branded camp chairs. I paid $30 more for the branded one because the salesman said they were guaranteed. Fast forward to it breaking and they now claim that policy never existed. Take your money to adventures edge. They may be expensive but they don’t lie to you.

Grateful we’ve got a nice camping and outdoor store local to the north coast, they were helpful and willing to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Thanks!

Been hounding these guys for almost 3 months about a CCW class after they instructed me to email them to get on a waiting list, which they confirmed I have a spot reserved on (after six weeks I learn that sign-ups arent even open and I do not have a spot). I finally get a hold of them to try and get a price and time and they tell me "sometime in July, class size will be 24 people, when you get the email to sign-up drop everything, cost will be $250-$350 but maybe more." Then they never reach-out to me to let me know that class sign-ups are open.

Just go to Stick To Your Guns. They actually care, prices are best in humboldt, and they can direct you to an instructor that is fairly-priced. PacOut wasted a ton of my time, and now they just send adds to the email I provided.

This is a shoutout to the on-floor sales staff working the afternoon of Saturday, May 25, 2024.

My friend and I—both women over 40–stopped in to find a pair of surf booties for kayaking the water crossing portion of the Kinetic Sculpture Race on Sunday.

I only saw men on the floor as sales people. And as a woman in her 40s into adventure sports, often my experience in other places (not the North Coast), in these situations is one of either being ignored or being condescended to.

That was not the case at Pacific Outfitters in Eureka!

Though I didn’t get their names, one super-helpful salesman (he was the avid fisherman) helped my friend with her booties, and another salesman popped in on our conversation to chat about kayaks and abalone diving.

Super nice guys who were interested in helping us and really respectful of our experiences as women adventurers.

It was a zany breath of fresh air—thank you!
