Every girl dreams of the perfect wedding, and Jax was the perfect coordinator to make that happen! We hired her for 1 day to manage our intimate wedding of 60 guests in Southern California. We spoke with many coordinators, and Jax was the only one who truly shared our vision from the first phone call. It really reduced our stress knowing she understood all the details of our schedule and venue layout. On our wedding day, I barely even noticed her because everything seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Definitely will recommend Jax to others as a 1-day or even long-term wedding planner! Bonus: her business partner Nick is great handyman if you prefer two people to manage your special day!

I am a caterer and had the absolute pleasure of being hired by Jax and Nick to be one of the vendors at an anniversary party for their client. I coordinated everything with Jax from the get-go and was impressed by her professionalism, organization and attention to detail. I have worked with many event planners over the years and it was such a breath of fresh air to work with Nick and Jax. Everything they said they would do they did and then some. I had zero questions on where I needed to go and what I needed to do because Jax sent me step by step instructions every step of the way as well as detailed photographs of where we would need to unload and set-up our display. I can’t wait to work with them again and would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone planning an event!

We hired Jax Nelson, owner of Coastal Proposals (San Clemente, CA), 2.5 months before our wedding in Los Angeles. We needed a day-of coordinator who understood right away all the detailed work that my wife and I already completed in planning our own wedding. We live walking distance to our venue, The Culver Hotel, and used their standard wedding template setup. So we were able to put in ~5-10 hours per week over 4 months to hire vendors, select our food/services with the hotel, write down the
wedding day hour-by-hour schedule on Google Slides with photos/diagrams, and even made a 20 minute virtual rehearsal on YouTube for all vendors. All we needed was a coordinator who could read the plan, watch the video, and know what to do with minimal instruction. On our big day, we were 100% confident she would handle everything flawlessly, and use her experience to quickly solve anything unexpected while we were busy. And she did just that! She has exceptional intuition and understood what we wanted with minimal interaction, pre-wedding and on the day of. We had a magical wedding that we will savor for a lifetime!

I don't plan on getting married again. But if I were to advise other couples, I would seriously consider hiring Jax as a 6-12 month wedding planner from start-to-finish if you can't put in 5-10 hours per week to plan it yourself. If you have planned your own wedding and just need a day-of coordinator, Jax was far and away the best option we interviewed. She's super calm and collected so you can focus all your adrenaline on being the stars of your big day!
