Pre-Covid we took an amazing trip to Morocco with Experience It Tours. We worked with Lorre in their office, to modify one of their regular private tours into our own custom tour. We spent nine days and eight nights driving all around Morocco with our driver/guide Illyas, who was a most remarkable companion. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, incredibly competent, kind, fun, and a joy to be with. He felt more like a friend than a hired driver/guide.

When we were planning this trip we wondered about the guide. Since we would be traveling with him for nine days, would we get along? Would he understand our needs – both physical and mental? Would he listen to our desires and work to fulfill them? Would he go out of his way to show us a good time? Ilyass far exceeded our expectations on all counts.

The places that we visited were unbelievable. We are so glad that we were able to work with Lorre to arrange to have Illyas meet us at the Tangier airport instead of Casablanca. That way we were able to fly to Tangier from Madrid, and then drive to Chefchouen to get the trip off to a great start. We also went to Fes, Marrakech, Essaouira, and Casablanca. We stayed in a riad in each city and the riads were perfect, beautiful, and most accommodating.

Exploring the Medinas and the Mellah in each of the cities was a life-changing experience. While we didn’t go into this trip looking for the Jewish heritage in Morocco, we certainly found it, and the local guides and Ilyass helped us to explore it. The food was outstanding. Shopping was fun and we made some great purchases; while walking away from some others. We always felt safe and really enjoyed interacting with the Moroccan people.

In the years since that trip, we have recommended our Morocco trip with Experience It! Tours to a number of our friends, and each one came away with the same great experience. This could not have been a better trip, and we only wish that Experience It! Tours would provide travel opportunities to other places that we wish to visit around the world.

During the Xmas holidays in 2019 my wife and I had a marvelous week with an Experience Tours to Morocco. We went to Tangier, Fez and Marrakesh. Our guide, Wahid Chmacha, was superb, knowledgeable, accomodating and eager to make the experience unforgettqble, which it was.

I have used Experience Tours for 3 trips to Morocco, and they are fabulous. The communication is quick and clear, the itinerary is very well done, the lodging accommodations just what I like, my driver Illyas is fantastic. He noticed what I liked and suggested minor stops along the way to purchase just what I was looking for, or grab a scenic view for my photography. He is kind, funny and very knowledgeable. I plan to go back to Africa every 2 years, and I will always use Experience It tours.

I’m so happy that I contacted this boutique travel company when planning to go to Morocco. They provided flexible options at various price levels, from budget to luxury, so I could pick just what I wanted and could afford. My daughter and I were taken care of beautifully for our 12 day trip. Our private driver was safe, competent, personable and protective of our interests. Since then I have recommended him specifically and the company to several relatives and friends who have responded that they had a perfect experience, just as we did on their own Morocco adventures. The trip was paced perfectly, the chosen sites were fascinating - with additional on-site guides arranged. Stops for meals were always special with local ambiance and flavors. We traveled with IT Tours on a private tour to Morocco pre-pandemic. It was the best tour we ever took, and we travel extensively. Before I go into detail, I have to mention that we are still raving about the experience and recommending IT tours to anybody interested in that destination.
Why we liked it: the transportation and the driver were perfect: roomy cars, easy going driver, accommodating every need and wish. The riads were exquisitely picked, elegant, welcoming, and perfect. And the selected itinerary was studded with gems.

We were one of three couples who took a private tour of Morocco with the help of Experience It Tours. Our guide and driver were exceptional and the sites we saw were spectacular. The “point person” in our group is very detail oriented and all 6 of us are experienced travelers so we are not easy to please.
The tour company did a great job making some last minute adjustments when one couple had to travel separately for a few days due to Covid.
Our hotels were lovely and we had a daily food allowance which was more than adequate for most days. The price was very reasonable considering the level of travel.
I would not hesitate to recommend Experience It Tours.

My friend and I went to Morocco about 10 years ago with Experience it Tours. My first trip with this company and I loved every single minute of it. Our driver Namir went above and beyond for us. I wanted to eat in local restaurants and be shown the true way of life in this country. He did not disappoint. Namir went out of his way to accommodate all my requests. I met this family owned company while I was there. They are Americans who are locally based and actually live there. They were warm and welcoming and went above and beyond for us.
