The Coronado Apartments - El Granada, California

My family of 3 stayed here for 6 months while we looked for a more permanent place after we moved to the area. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was perfect - a short walk to the surfer's beach and pillar point harbor (both using protected crosswalks to cross highway 1), Quarry park, many great eateries and cafes, and a market. It was easy to communicate with Ralph and he checked in with us often to make sure everything was ok in the apartment. Cleaning ladies came every other week and they were nice and kind and always try not to interrupt me as I was working from home. We enjoyed our stay and made good memories. We highly recommend this place!

Unbeatable location - about a block up from the ocean; far enough to provide peace and quiet yet close enough to enjoy everything El Granada has to offer (dining, shopping, pier.)

The units themselves are very well kept, and the owner is always accessible and genuinely cares about his guests being comfortable during their stay. Example: I work from home, I need fast Internet. The Wi-Fi was spotty; I spoke with the owner about it and he upgraded each unit with lightning fast service.

El Granada is in many ways a hidden gem. You can hop on highway 1 and reach SF in less than 30 minutes, or hop over the hill to the peninsula in less than that.

The apartment is well cared for, clean, and has everything you need. Great location, walking distance to the beach and Hop Dogma, as well as the pier. Quiet area. Can see the ocean from the porch of the corner apartment (#1).
