This was my first time staying at this location with IHG and the moment I arrived I was greeted by Joanna at front desk. She was so kind and nice while checking-in, and making sure that all my questions for my stay was answered. This really set the stage for the rest of my stay here, and so a big thank you to Joanna! I walked into my room and the AC was already turned on and my room was cooled off. This was the first time ever for me to experience this at IHG. I can't express just how much I loved this. The AC in the hallways were also turned on so they're absolutely considerate of guests' comfort.
I had booked an extra day after reserving for two nights and I asked Joanna about it and she assured me that I'll most likely keep the same room for the extra night. I also checked in the morning with Christine at front desk and she made sure everything was taken care of. Christine was absolutely so kind and professional and did every to make sure that my stay was smooth. I also left my keys in my room twice and each time I asked for an extra key to get in she did it with a smile.
I also want to mention that every single employee I saw in passing whether it's front desk or housekeeping always made to say things like "Good morning" to me and other guests.
I cannot express just how amazing this location is and will definitely make this my go-to location for future stays in Southern California. Thank you all for your kindness!

We are currently staying here as my husband is on a business trip in the area. The area itself is a bit sketchy and right next to the fwy you can hear a train whistle once in awhile as well. But overall I was very impressed with the overall amenities. The breakfast was great they had a good selection. I was impressed by the service. I had called down for towels and they brought them immediately. The staff was friendly and the bed was surprisingly really comfortable. The room was clean. There is a bit of an odor at first but after the air kicked in it seemed alot better. The pool also looked really clean and there was plenty of parking. They had a security guard patrolling the parking area and it made me feel safe.

This hotel is doable for a one night stay, wouldn’t do more than that. Our room was dirty and had stains on the wall as well as white stains all on the blue couch. The view and location of this place is very unpleasant. The amount of homeless and aggressive tweakers is unsettling. You definitely get what you pay for.. wouldn’t recommend just spend an additional $50-100 extra for a better hotel.

I do appreciate the presence of the overnight security guard. The breakfast was filling. The staff was very nice during check in.

My only complaint and it’s a huge one for someone like me who grew up poor. The entire hallway, the lobby ladies room, smell like Raid roach spray!!!! I mean the smell is so strong I had to ask to switch rooms from the first floor to the 3rd. So when I first got to the 3rd floor perfect fresh air! Fast forward to 6 am as I’m headed to breakfast omggggg the smell is now on the 3rd floor! I closed my room door so fast because I need to prepare myself to hold my breath while going downstairs. This is crazy! A $200 deposit and the hotel is the ones inconveniencing their guest by that smell!!! Everyone knows what raid smell like they could’ve at least got the cans with no scent my god I was getting a major headache in my room on the first floor (119) inhaling that smell and now here we go again! Doubt you’ll wanna stay here until they resolve that problem. Why am I paying so much to stay somewhere I can’t even breathe in? Insane!!!!!

Carpet was sopping wet in half of the room when we arrived. No other rooms were available to move into. Towels were given to lay over the wet spot. No water pressure in the shower the next morning. We left the property at 11am for the day and when we returned at 11:00pm that evening, our room reeked of sewer. We were offered an orange smelling spray. We had to evacuate the room and leave the window open while the spray “worked.” Here we are sitting in the lobby at 11:30 pm looking for another hotel to go to. Terrible.

Rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. I was concerned about what seemed to look like a small homeless camp across the road in the desert. But there were no issues with vehicles getting broken in or anything. Plus, the continental breakfast was good. For those that want something else, there's a Jack in the Box next door within walking distance. But what we had was really good. I would go back again if we ever need to stay in the area again. The only negative I can think of is occasionally hearing train horns.

Positive: I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Colton for two weeks for work. The hotel was very clean, free parking and hot breakfast. I was really impressed with how friendly the staff was! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Negative: Nope, great hotel!

Stars & Stripes

Poor property. Not that old but looks old. Clientelle are low end and everything looks dirty from the outside. The inside is well worn. Checking in after midnight and they are traonf new staff, I don't think so - I would like to get to my room and get to bed, never seen anything like this before. Fence surrpunding the hotel soesn't givw you a good feeling about the area. Overall not anywhere near Holday Inn standards.
