We stop here every year on our way to Arizona. It’s such a beautiful spot in the middle of freeway land. Looks like an old mission and is so beautifully landscaped, but is newish and sparkling clean. I wish we could find a reason to stay here when the weather is warmer so we could use the pool, but it seems like we’re always on the way somewhere. It would be a great place to have a wedding reception. The food at the restaurant is also excellent and the wait staff is wonderful. I love all the artwork and details.

Stayed there three times in two years. It’s an Impressive facility from the outside. I’ve always pulled in pretty late without a reservation and I found the staff to be reasonable – Angel helped me twice. The facility is dated and a little rough on the inside, but that’s part of that charm - It feels historical. It’s not priced like it’s dated though. The basic room is now $200 per night - after 10pm with an empty parking lot. Seems aggressive but not outrageous. At that time of night $100-$125 would be a good deal and $150 would be fair.

Twice I have left belongings behind (how dumb can you be?) But twice my belongings were not returned – first time was an untraceable electronic device so I figured my odds were poor. Second time was a labeled prescription and I called the evening after I checked out. Not shocking, but all in all not ticking many boxes.

Next time I think I’ll stick to the reliable hotel chains as much as I would like to support an ‘independent’ trying to develop an alternative for weary travelers who appreciate nostalgia.?

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! There is something about the atmosphere that makes it feel so peaceful and relaxing and it looks feels like they put a lot of thought when building this hotel even the benches they have outside aren’t hard wood they look like wood but it is a different material. And the restaurant they have looks so dreamy and comfortable in the afternoon I love it!

I have passed this place on I-5 for decades. First time stopping in. Restaurant is great (dinner and breakfast.). Rooms are a generous size. Beautiful gardens and really cool greenhouses. The staff was very nice. They have great services via text message for making sure everything is great and makes for an easy checkout process. My spouse wants to return and that is about the best feedback you can get.

WOW!!! I can’t say enough about this resort. It is SO BEAUTIFUL and just so amazing!! An oasis just outside the city. The staff was amazing! The rooms were emasculate!! The grounds were stunning!! The food was delicious!! Such a gorgeous place!

The location is great. Service is fast and professional. Our family wants to give a huge shout out to Matthew, Tanya, and Flo for making our stay extra special. From checking in to checking out, they were all very helpful and accommodating. ||The pool is clean and has a hot tub. We love it.|Our family loved the fitness center. We were all able to work out there. ||Most importantly, the ambiance, the scenic, and the ambiance is very positive.||Thanks to Matthew, Tanya, and Flo for their accommodation. ||We will be back.

We stayed here on our drive from Idaho to Central California after reading reviews from other people. This really is an unexpectedly delightful oasis off of I 5!
The food was fantastic. The ambience was fantastic. The rooms were clean. The beds were firm but comfortable. The service was excellent. That genuinely is a renovated roadside motel, but this place is a gem.
The art collection was unexpectedly enjoyable, there appears to be a very large new greenhouse, and there are horseshoes and cornhole and a swimming pool that was much nicer than expected. We would totally stay here again.
I wish the brunch/breakfast hours went longer on weekends but otherwise no suggestions this place was great.

Right off the I 5 this hotel is a cut above a traveller chain hotel. It is large with rooms opening out motel style onto a covered walkway/piazza style area. Rooms are Mexican style with good size bathroom with nice filing. Coffee machine and fridge in room, morning coffee in lobby.

There is a lovely garden area as a central outdoor courtyard with a very nice pool to the side. We didn’t experience the restaurant as there are very many choices nearby.
