This wine tour was a hugely enjoyable day out from San Diego to Baja for our group of 5 friends. Joaquin was entertaining and helpful - he even kindly changed up one of the wineries on the day when we explained what sort of wine our group members enjoyed. The trip down the coast and across to the Valle de Guadalupe was an eye opener to the beautiful & varied aspects of the area and each of the wineries was unique and memorable. Great friendly service and wines at Vina de Liceaga, Chateau Camou, Cava Maciel. The food at Finca Altozana was fresh and incredible - let Joachim order for you!

I had a great time on the Valle de Guadalupe Wine Tour. We visited three wineries and also stopped for an (included) lunch. The tour guide, Mario, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The area was beautiful and the trip was completely stress-free. Definitely would recommend it and hoping to take another tour!

I booked with Baja Winery tours for my friend's birthday trip to valle. I had never been to valle so wanted a company that could handle all of the details for me. Mistake... The winery selections were not good. On 2 occasions we passed gorgeous vineyards to end up at small, mom and pop tasting room type wineries with no vineyards in sight. The wineries got progressively worse as the day went on to the point that we literally walked out of the last one and had our driver take us to a better location. They sent us to one that was literally in a parking lot... we passed el cielo to go to that winery. None of the selections made any sense. I specifically asked for great views, and wineries with selections of red and white wines as the group had various preferences. Luckily our driver was really flexible so when we asked to go to other wineries we had heard of instead of what booked, he was willing to take us. there are so many gorgeous places in valle to see, I'll never understand how they selected the itinerary they did for us. Lunch was also a debacle. They booked and pre ordered our entire lunch without us ever being asked what our dietary restrictions were so we had to pay out of pocket to get food that we could actually eat as we had vegans and folks who didnt eat meat with us. As a person who wine tastes all over the world, this was one of the worst itineraries I've ever seen. So many details missed.

BWT is an excellent resource when booking a tour or private drivers for time spent in the baja coast of Mexico / Valle de Guadalupe wine country. For a little extra info, BWT is an American marketing/coordinating arm for a Mexican shuttle company, but Joaquin was great in setting us up with great, professional drivers who made our weekend a blast. We used their drivers for 3 days and other than one timing mix-up (which was a short notice thing), we had incredible service. Many of the drivers speak little or mixed English, but was very easy to navigate with google translate apps. Having Joaquin as an extra resource was great too, as him and the drivers coordinated to find us a dinner reservation on last minute's notice one night when our initial plan got rained out. Would use them again, would recommend to anyone else!

We went on a private tour with seven family members who were in town for a wedding. Phil was our guide and took care of every detail so that we could relax and have a fantastic time together. We visited three wineries and also stopped at another beautiful location for a delicious tapas lunch. All the wines we tasted were excellent. Phil has personal relationships and local knowledge, so you really feel like you are getting a special experience. The door-to-door service by private van was great to eliminate worries about driving. We felt 100% safe on this tour. Our passage back across the border was fast, but of course living in San Diego we know that varies day to day depending on conditions at the border. We highly recommend this tour and plan to book another one with family members who couldn't make it this time. I would also like to compliment this company on their professional communication and responsiveness on email, which made me feel comfortable and confident during the booking process.

Baja Winery Tours Was an amazing door to door service and such a great treat after the last year.
They picked us up at our doorstep, drove us across the border to the Mexican wine country for two wine tastings, a mezcal tasting and a coursed lunch with wine paring and then drove us right back to our doorstep. They picked beautiful locations, with a good variety of wine and a delicious and vibrant lunch. Dan and Joaquin were so fun and friendly and did a great job keeping all 20 of us on time all while ensuring we had the best day. We will look forward to many more day and overnight trips with Baja Winery Tours!!!
