Great customer service and a good selection of vehicles. I am returning my LAX rental and picking up my rental to go on to yuma. But just remember to always document your returns and pickups with plenty of pictures.

They tacked on bogus extra charges without justifying them or sending a receipt, simply charging my credit card. I visited the counter before closing to find it empty. I then returned the vehicle at close to 100% instead of 70%, and still was charged several hundreds extra including a "late fee". Not right.

UPDATE: As retaliation for my honest review, they sent an invoice days later for $450 to wash the exterior of the car. Clearly they are unprofessional to say the least. I would recommend not renting with them ever.

I had to give 1 star, or I would have given a big fat 0.
The owner/ operator at this location is a bold face liar & a thief. They tried charging me $450 For a cleaning fee. The reason? Dust on the driver floor board of an F-150. I would not recommend renting from this location for any reason. The customer service @ budget / avis was also infuriating. I was hung up on, twice when inquiring about the charge. Customer service refused to upgrade the call. Overall the worst rental experience I have ever had.

This place is awesome! The staff went completely out of their way to help my family get the best deal possible in the emergency situation we found ourselves in! Funny how God sends an angel in the darkest of hours! With good communication and caring staff they stayed an extra hour after close to see to it that my family and I was taken great care of and got exactly what we needed to get back on the road!

Again. I will continue to post this. This place and the people that work there are criminals. Rented a vehicle last month to a different location. It was filthy, mud and dirty when I got it at this LOCATION. They put on the rental agreement in their system DO NOT TAKE OFF CLEANING FEE. WAS charged $270 and called corporate to get this adjusted. Not a problem, $68.77 for rental. They wait 4 weeks and hit me with a $450.00 charge to my account. I would not recommend ANYONE rent from the location in Imperial CA.

Rented a beautiful looking car , but when my trip was canceled for personal reasons I had to keep the car for the week as turning it in early would not guarantee me a dime back. At least thats what customer support told me . Oh well ill think twice next time.

The worst Avis location I’ve rented from. The vehicles are always worn out with some kind of mechanical problem. And don’t bother paying extra to reserve a certain car because they won’t have it when you go to pick it up. And one last complaint is they charge $9/gallon for refueling cost but they don’t actually refuel the vehicle. They keep that fee as pure profit and pass the cost of refueling on to the next renter.

My advice go to Enterprise if you have to rent a vehicle in Imperial Valley. (They’re not so good either but at least they inspect their vehicles before renting)
