Terrific - such good fun. We went for a 30-minute 'Country and Cookies' buggy ride with our driver (John - who had a really good sense of humour). What a fantastic ride.
The countryside was so amazing, and hearing about the Amish lifestyle was very interesting. We made a quick stop at an Amish home where young Amish girls were selling homemade cookies.
Highly recommended and absolutely worth it.

This has been by far the BEST excursion I have had in PA!! Cannot praise Amos enough- quite the character which made it all the more fun. The most amazing part was that we allowed my daughter to take Sid’s reins. HIGHLY recommend to anyone wanting to learn about the Amish.

Great fun with the entire family. It’s always fascinating to learn about so many various cultures, and the Amish history and culture is no exception. We went on a buggy ride with twelve of our family members (on the Amish version of a 15-passenger van :). Our “driver” was amazing. He gave us a wonderful 30 minute guided tour of beautiful Amish country via horse and buggy and answered all our questions. No (respectful) question was off limits.

We previously had a great experience with a buggy ride here, which is why we returned. However, this time was disappointing. We visited at the end of the day, and it was clear that the horses were exhausted. They had little to no break or water between rides and were visibly struggling to keep up. While other buggies passed by with ease, ours moved extremely slowly, making it evident that the horses were overworked. Their coats were also noticeably dirty, which was heartbreaking to see. I was relieved when we finally returned, thinking it was the last ride of the day and the horses could rest. But then I heard an attendant tell the driver, “Gonna have to do one more,” and my heart sank for those poor animals. It was truly upsetting to witness, and I hope they prioritize the well-being of these hardworking horses.

My husband Rob and I went on a 30 minute Country and Cookies buggy ride with our driver Melvin. He was so nice and let us sit up in the drivers seat with him. What a beautiful ride and Melvin chatted with us about the the Amish lifestyle and had a great sense of humor. We made a quick stop at an Amish home where the beautiful young Amish girls were selling homemade root beer and cookies. Highly recommended and absolutely worth it. What a beautiful memory!!! Also want to add that the the 2 woman at the ticket purchase area were very nice and helpful. Thank you so much to the wonderful Amish woman that offered us the front drivers seat with Melvin. That absolutely made our day!!! Sorry we didnt get your name but we are so very thankful to you to offer us this experience that made us both very happy!!! ❤️❤️

We booked for the tour and it is late by 35 minutes! Their answer was: "The horses are late." For my knowledge, only humans have a watch....

P.s. it's was a lie, because we saw them bringing new horses and a new waghen that wait all the time atside, just not in time...

Wonderful experience. They have couple of options half hour and hour rides. I believe there is no option to buy tickets in advance so.on a busy day may have to wait for your turn. Our host (vickey if i am not mistaken) was really good and entertaining and we had very good time. There are one horse and two horses buggies. We had one horse one which fits about 4-6 people so a good option for a family. Two horses one can fit about 10-12 people .
