I really recommend making a reservation first, and if you arrive at the place you can sign up for a waiting list. In my case, the wait was around 50 minutes, but it was honestly worth the wait. I'm writing it down as one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The menu isn't complicated at all, making it much easier to choose. Whatever you decide to eat is good and has a unique flavor. You certainly won't have any problems with a bad decision. Like any good Mediterranean place, it's decorated in a fresh and elegant style. I highly recommend it with my eyes closed. Everything you see in the photo was perfect, with flavors that are in my memory, hahaha, and very fresh bread.

Incredible. Every single bite. The hummus was life changing. We got the smoky garlic one. They bring a little basket of deliciously spiced pita with each order. The atmosphere was perfect. Lots of plants, string lights, classy sexy outdoor vibe. The service was great. The margaritas were spectacular. We devoured every bite. I could have stayed there all day. The Japanese sweet potato was really unique and fun to eat. The short rib was tender and delicious. Would 100% come back here, can’t wait.

Loved this place! It is tucked away off of Congress and it was splendid! Me and a friend tried this place for her birthday and it did not disappoint. We had Daniel as our waiter and he kept saying he was in training however he took care of us and gave us some drink ideas that were absolutely amazing! We got the chicken kabob and lamb and beef kabob and they both came with rice. We got to share the food because it was nice sized portions! It was so good. We also got the hummus for an appetizer and it came with sliced up pita bread! My friend was able to get a birthday dessert on the house! Everything was so good!

Aba Austin exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a beautiful patio and elegant decor. The service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared, especially the hummus, kebabs, and baklava. The Mediterranean-inspired menu offers a great variety, with fresh ingredients and creative cocktails to match. Despite being busy, everything arrived promptly, and the experience felt relaxed and enjoyable. Whether for a date night or a group dinner, Aba is a must-visit in Austin. I’ll definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

We tried Aba tonight for the first time. We lucked out by getting a seat since there were no reservations online. We were seated within 10 minutes. Our server, Daniel gave us recommendations for us first timers. Acting upon his recommendation we were ordered several dishes to share. The Brussel sprouts were absolutely delicious and our favorite. We also had pecan crusted halibut which was also delicious as well as short braised ribs. All were great and drinks were delicious. But, what made our experience fabulous was the service we received from Daniel. We loved the entire experience and he made it such a perfect night. Thank you Daniel and all Aba staff. You made it a very enjoyable evening.

Food was great. Atmosphere was beautiful. Service was good. The server kinda spilled alot of things 😂 but it was still good. Great place for brunch. Took my parents there and they really loved the atmosphere. Its great to sit outside if the weather is good.

Wow—just wow! This Mediterranean restaurant absolutely lived up to the hype. We had been waiting to dine here for a while, and it was more than worth it.

We started with the Short Rib Hummus, and it was a perfect 10/10—rich, tender, and full of flavor. Next up, the Heirloom Chicken Thighs were hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and incredibly flavorful.

For the main course, we shared the Braised Beef Short Rib with pomegranate glaze, and I can’t stop thinking about it. If I could fly to Austin every week just for that dish, I would! And the Brussels sprouts? Also a solid 10/10.

The service was just as incredible. If you can, request Joseph—he was knowledgeable, friendly, and even brought me extra Brussels!

Incredible vibes and incredible food. The drinks are divine. Our server recommended everyone ordering two dishes each, but after an appetizer and a main dish I was stuffed! The short rib shakshuka is very filling, and the brunch bramble is delicious. I can't wait to come back here.
