My mother lives in an apartment across the street from this hotel. Twelve I have put my kids up here when they were visiting at the same time as us, and the rooms are wonderful. Lots of space, clean, and well laid out. The front desk staff is very friendly.

However, our favorite part of this property is R Bar, their in-house bar. My wife and I come every time we visit, and we have been since their opening. The food is excellent, and the music on Wednesday nights is top-notch. But what keeps us coming back is the bar staff. Jodi is not only a great bartender, but she is a kind, wonderful person. She is always upbeat and happy, and just makes everyone feel at home. Her manager, Billy, does an exceptional job and it's the sweetest person. My wife and I stay with my mom so we don't need a place to stay. However we forgo the other bar options in Southpointe to come here to drink because of the staff. We love it!!

The hotel itself is clean and well managed however, if you are looking for drama, Jodi the bartender has you covered. I brought in a Salmon order from Nate's across the street and came in to sit at the bar. was told I couldn't eat at the bar so I immediately went to another area far from the bar to enjoy my dinner. Jodi came over and said, you should be in the other "section" which is literally 2 feet away but made an exception this time stating that it's company policy. Fine, that's why I removed myself when she asked. she kept rambling on about not being able to have my food in certain areas and my husband asked her to please just leave the check and we would pay when we are ready. I guess she felt the need for validation and kept on talking but we asked her to please leave us. Then she calls a manager because she likes drama. he comes over and repeats the same thing. We tell them we aren't looking for drama and are enjoying ourselves and he mentions that the cops are going to be called. Why? Drama Jodi. Meanwhile, everyone else and other Patrons are trying to enjoy the live music and have a conversation. Cops come and drama Jodi starts crying alligator tears talking about how she's never felt so insulted- Because we didn't want to listen to you rambling on and preferred to just enjoy my dinner without your presence ? no one called her names or insulted her- why so much Drama? hardly a good reason to go off the deep end Jodi. By that time I just put away my dinner that I ordered because I've lost my appetite. Cops said we couldn't come into the bar again or we'd be arrested. WOW. Needless to say, the over the top reaction and unnecessary drama puts this hotel and the bottom of any Marriott. Jodi should be fired.

I travel extensively for work and have stayed over 200 days at this hotel. It’s modern, clean, and the staff is amazing. Jodi and the entire bar staff are the most personal, kind, hospitable people who make you feel welcome and at home. The hotel staff at the desk are exactly the same. Highest regards to the service and the personal attention received by all. Even if my work location is far away, I still book this hotel and make the drive.

My family and I come here all the time! Jodi at the bar is always so sweet and personable. She knows exactly how I like my drink and makes sure to have friendly conversations with every customer. This place is definitely a hidden gem!!

Great hotel in Southpointe. It’s a smaller hotel but rooms are a good size and nice and clean. I stay there multiple times a year and always been happy with the room and cleanliness. Has a decent gym. Hotel is in a little center. So there’s some decent restaurants within walking distance.

The rooms are clean, modern, and cozy. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The bar/breakfast staff are great. The basic breakfast offering is good, but it’s not cheap. The water pressure is weak and some of the switches on the wall don’t work / some of the motion sensors in the bathroom are finicky.

Definitely feel this place has gone down hill. They seem very understaffed. I checked into my room and the electricity went out immediately- like a fuze blew. I called down and front desk gal was not very helpful. I ended up going down after about 20 minutes and realizing that no one was going to assist and asked for another room. They did give me one. The rooms are dirty..not clean. The only good thing was the food I ordered as good. There were two ladies on the main floor, nice, but you could just tell they were understaffed.

Room was clean, loved the shower. Great stay . We are truck drivers so thank you for allowing trucks. This is now our go to hotel when we come to this area. Lady at front desk was very friendly, check in was a breeze also. Thank you staff for a wonderful stay.
